mabi Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Great man! As Ive said some posts earlier! But I wasn't able to do it.
Alan86 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 I don't think he/she meant it to sound arrogant. Mostly, calling it a "rumor" is illogical when you post an article confirming it. And Warner Music and Green Day have nothing to do with when the Twilight soundtrack will be released, or any singles, PR and promotions that come from it. If this article says the first single will be digitally released and the first single is The Forgotten, then it's a logical guess that The Forgotten is probably what's getting released tomorrow, which makes sense in anticipation of the movie and soundtrack releases in the coming weeks. Either way, we'll know for sure tomorrow, so... I only said "rumor" because I couldn't find an official press release from Atlantic Records or Chop Shop. I was not aware that "The Hollywood Reporter" article could be taken as an official announcement Green Day arent releasing this single twilight is and since they already own the lisence twilight can do what they want without contacting GD... Ok, all I was doing was providing the article where the information came from
TheJedi Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 where did you even hear/read that it was going to be released today?
Rusty Hart Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 where did you even hear/read that it was going to be released today? i read from here http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/earshot/breaking-dawn-soundtrack-green-day-377281
Kill_the_Kia Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 The Forgotten, or not The Forgotten today: that is the question XD *feeling like Shakespeare* ^^
1039SweetChildren Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 i read from here http://www.hollywood...reen-day-377281 Yeah, it just looks like Hollywood Reporter assumed the first single would be released on iTunes when the pre-order for the soundtrack went up on iTunes. It was a logical assumption, but clearly misinformed.
Vanilla Shake Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 So, no new Green Day today? What a bummer.
Gregorovich Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Both DOS! and the Twilight soundtrack are released on the 13th November. Therefore, infallible logic dictates that the lead single of the Twilight soundtrack should be released at the same time as the lead single of DOS!, which is today. Not that it matters.
