I actually really like See the lights solo, pretty simple but beautiful. But of course I love shredders like Makeout party and Dirty Rotten Bastards

Dirty Rotten Bastards. Oh my god I get goosebumps every time i hear that solo. It is just so epic. If there was a forum for best BASS solos, Dirty Rotten Bastards would be my vote as well. Just an epic song overall.

I love the solo to Paper Lanterns, I think it's great. So is Dry Ice (like everyone's been saying) and I also really like the solo in One for the Razorbacks.

Most of the guitar solos in their earlier stuff are awesome.

As for the newer stuff, Troublemaker is pretty nifty. But I love the solos in Fuck Time and Amanda as well (I have a thing for sliding down the fretboard in solos :P).

I'm gonna go with Amanda.

I like a lot of the trilogy solos.

I like Troublemaker, Makeoutparty, DRB, etc...

My generation is probably one of the most technical to learn. Always thought Judges Daughter was a brilliant one and managed to learn that a few years ago, like the Only of you solo to but having a harder time getting that one perfect.

Dry Ice

I'm sooo excited that they're bringing the solos back.

I freaking love the guitar tracks on Uno Dos and Tre.

Definetly (or however) Fuck time!

Dry Ice/The Judges Daughter

and also the solo in Minority live

The guitar solo in restless heart syndrome is amazing

Dry Ice is hands down their best solo

The solo to Coming Clean is just awesome. Well maybe its a bridge? I don't know. If not that then it would have to be Wating.

Wake Me Up When September Ends.

(Just Kidding, One for the Razorbacks)

i think wow thats loud and dirty rotten bastards

I'd definitely say that Dry Ice is one of their strongest solos, but...

Worry Rock and Pullling Teeth.

Freaking love Pulling Teeth and Worry Rock.

Without a doubt, Uptight

haha just kidding. I'd have to say The forgotten has the most beautiful solo ever, so simple but somehow amazingly powerful. I almost tear up every time i hear it.

And the best rocking solo has to be, as everyone else says, Dry Ice or The Judges Daughter

Hmm. Dry Ice or the Judges Daughter.

Also can't see why Billie would have had a problem with playing the Dry Ice solo, seeing as how he jams Eruption in front of 20 thousand people. It's certainly not an advanced guitar solo when you compare it to the greats like Eddie Van Halen and Kirk Hammet, or even to someone like Ryan Peake and Chad Kroeger from Nickelback.

Oh, btw, just to point out what I'm saying here, the guitar solos are just as effective, they just aren't actually difficult.

They have more effective solos than bands like Nickelback do, although they really aren't hard at all. Probably their easiest solo is in Holiday and that'd be a runner up. Holiday, Know Your Enemy, East Jesus Nowhere, Jesus of Suburbia, September Ends, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, When I Come Around... some of their best, in terms of how they fit with the song, and they're all pretty simple.

My Generation isn't a Green Day song.

From the new records I love the solos from Let Yourself Go, Wow! That's Loud and Dirty Rotten Bastards....

From the older records I always love the live solo when they play Knowledge, love the solo in Dry Ice, and One for the Razorbacks

The version at Reading is one of the most epic solos I've ever heard from any band, never mind Green Day.

Dude, I respect your opinion because I think you are one of the most awesome members on here, but saying a solo in Stay The Night is one of the best solo's ever is kindaaa... uhm weird to say the least
