SOMEONEKILLTHEDJ Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 official running time for Dos from itunes See You Tonight 1:06 Fuck time 2:45 Stop when the red lights flash 2:26 Lazy bones 3:34 Wild one 4:19 Makeout party 3:14 Stray Heart 3:44 Ashley 2:50 Baby eyes 2:22 Lady cobra 2:05 Nightlife 3:04 Wow! That’s loud 4:27 Amy 3:25 i wonder last time uno didnt show the run time on wikipedia until it leaked just a fort here what if dos will leak much sooner
Calvin92 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 It would be cool if Mike was on lead vocals for See You Tonight, and Tre was on lead vocals too for Brutal Love (which has a similar title to Dominated Love Slave). Wishful thinking is all this is though...
StefanD Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 How come you good people in the US get it 4 days later than here in Australia?
Gregorovich Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 How come you good people in the US get it 4 days later than here in Australia? It's making up for literally everything else in the world which is better for Americans. To be honest, I'm not as excited for Dos as I was for Uno. I don't think it'll be as good in all honesty. There are some amazing songs on there, but we've heard most of them already and (imho) Nightlife is really going to disrupt the flow of the album. I'll probably listen to it once on the first run-through and then never again.

DannyDirnt Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Maybe See You Tonight is only some kind of instrumental prelude? Kinda like a new Song of the Century, but instrumental
Idiotic Tendency... Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Maybe See You Tonight is only some kind of instrumental prelude? Kinda like a new Song of the Century, but instrumental NME quote the lyrics so it will not be an instrumental. “The colder it gets, you won’t see me anymore/ But there’s still a chance of a walk to your door,” http://www.nme.com/blog/index.php?blog=1&title=green_day_idos_first_listen_1&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1
Sanity Loan Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I posted the review on GDA and had some comments http://www.greendayauthority.com/news/3700/
Todd Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I posted the review on GDA and had some comments http://www.greendaya....com/news/3700/ cool story bro.
Raven93 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 The weird part is that I don't care what NME say .. Only rolling stone reviews I care about Ps. I don't buy albums just because reviewers say they are good or not
Malleus Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Eh, not surprised that NME doesn't really like it. Whatevs. I'm sure I'll love it. Really excited to hear Ashley after this though.
The Grohl Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I don't really care about reviews either. I mean I'll look at the score if curiosity gets the best of me, but I never let it affect whether or not I'll listen to it. Mainly, I'll check out reviews after I've heard an album especially if it's bad
dallasthemenace Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 music critics dont know a goddamn thing.
Sanity Loan Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 music critics dont know a goddamn thing. No, it's just that we're all biased.
Ryder556 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 No, it's just that we're all biased. Just like Pitchfork. Fucking hipsters over there I tells yeah. Also I really can't wait for See you Tonight, Amy and the rest of Lazy Bones. I'm a sucker for slow songs. Sorry fo the confusion. I was being sarcastic cause he asked where he can get a track that isnt even out yet. No leaks guys Well it is a live track, so he's probably asking if anyone knows the concert it's from. Because it's 1:34 in length, and the Irving Plaza version is about that long(if you cut out most of the outro and a little bit of the intro/outro from Christie Road) I'm gonna say it'll be from Irving Plaza.
dallasthemenace Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 nah, not just in terms of green day, but generally speaking. i dont think ive ever read a review for any record (by a band i like OR dislike) that was anywhere NEAR even remotely accurate. the only guy that even comes close is that silly looking fellow from rolling stone. otherwise, theyre hack writers who were lucky enough to score a gig critiquing things they really dont know much about. which is why the reviews are never accurate. imo anyhow.
The Grohl Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 That's why I like reviews from fans more than anything. I think that way you get a better idea of the album beccause they actually want to hear it and they're not just reviewing it for a paycheck
DannyDirnt Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I read reviews just to see what they say, but wether they like the album or not I'm gonna buy it.
