WhiteTim Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Warner doing a bad job at marketing the albums so far same with 21st When Access Industries bought wmg they cleared out the old experienced staff for their inexperience (aka cheaper) staff and it shows time warner should never had sold the music department
tomdsjames Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I listened to that Radio 1 interview with Zane Lowe, does that count? Apparently, the last 5 Green Day songs played on BBC are Angel Blue, Let Yourself Go, Loss Of Control, Carpe Diem and Know Your Enemy http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/artists/084308bd-1654-436f-ba03-df6697104e19
BJA TC MD Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Oh Love a quite a few times, Kill The DJ sometimes, Let Yourself Go once, Nuclear Family once, and my mum 's heard Troublemaker. The radio station I've heard all that on got to hear ¡Uno! early, and they loved it. By the way, the radio edit version of Let Yourself Go I heard is horrible. The whole "always fuck fuckin with my head" bit got cut out, and half the first verse.
Emil Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Huh they always play in Bulgaria Wake me u[ and 21 guns xD I'm getting sick of them :X I want some older stuff played... Yea Oh love got pretty popular there too xD
Mar Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 On a semi-related note, the rare times MTV and VH1 play music videos, Oh Love is on heavy rotation. So, insomniacs (read: my mom) are quite familiar with the song.

M0n3y Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I've only heard Oh Loce from Uno! on the radio...but then again I almost never listen to the radio as most music played here sucks ass. From other albums I've heard 21 Guns, Last Of The American Girls, Know Your Enemy, American Idiot, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams and Holiday atleast once. On TV I've additionally heard/seen 21st Century Breakdown and Basket Case. Most of them were requested by listeners, just one or two actually played by the radio itself. I really hope this will change one day
BradGreenDay Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Today i heard Nuclear Family on the radio... was not expecting it...
July21 Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 my best friend, working at a surgical practice in germany, told me Oh Love is on the radio every day. and now she hates the song xD
insomniax Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Oh love is played a lot on the radio around here and everytime it's on, my mom turns up the volume to max She loves it.
Femme Gauche Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Oh love is played a lot on the radio around here and everytime it's on, my mom turns up the volume to max She loves it. It's physically impossible for me not to turn up the radio if a Green Day song is on and I have access to the volume controls. Even if it isn't one of my favorite songs.
rockabillie Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 On my radio station in Germany they made on the released date of Uno a "Green Day day" per hour 2 Green day songs ( an Uno and an older one). That was pretty awesome!
DannyDirnt Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Kill the DJ in the background as they talked about sports :/

You're right, but I rarely listen to the radio on my own, so the only time I know they're on it is when she turns it up But when I do listen to the radio, it's bandit rock and the only green day song they play is the cover of working class hero..

That was pretty awesome! How long was this day? XD they'd run out of new songs before 24 . But that's pretty sweet, though. I've heard oh love several times D: IDK, I like the song, but even if I didn't, I'm happy to hear Green Day on the radio. XD. It's like a little gift to me from the universe.
Annie, get your gun Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I can't know 'cause I don't listen to the radio... But every time my sister heard Oh Love she called me to let me hear it A few years ago I used to listen a couple songs from American Idiot, never something from 21st Century Breakdown
BradGreenDay Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 So my radio alarm woke me up and Let Yourself Go came on!!!!
StuckWithInsomnia Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I haven't heard any, My friend said he heard Kill The DJ though, and when I was driving somewhere I was flicking through the stations and they played the iHeartRadio rant, then they said they would play some songs from Uno! after the ad break, but i was out of the car by that time :/
