Snows Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 I think I might try to rip the audio from the film so I can have mp3's of the demos, rehearsals, and live recordings, as they are fantastic. That would be awesome.
J&TheNight Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 That would be awesome. I'm working on it now. Trying to do so without using any illegal methods or programs Hm... I may have discovered how. I think I'm going to do 2 things: 1) Rip ALL audio and keep the DVD in it's entirety as audio only, so I can listen to it all everywhere > 2) Separate all songs from the audio so we can hear just the recordings =] I'll keep you guys posted.

jumpsalty Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 has anyone uploaded the bonus features to youtube yet?
Heather. Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 One thing I did notice in the credits is that for Nightlife is says "All words by Billie Joe" but it sure seemed to me that Lady Cobra wrote her own rap parts.... did Billie Joe really write those too? Because I find that hard to believe. Also I'd really like people to discuss if Keith Richards was actually there to meet Green Day. Because they sure reacted seriously and I still can't tell if it was a joke Wasn't that Webster Hall on Halloween? Why would Keith have been around?

Keith will randomly show up at venues if in town when Rolling Stones were in Houston he showed up at a concert at this club called Fitzgeralds and watched some local bands play

I might be mistaken but I think that scene was taken from when the band was rehearsing at Electric Ladyland Studios.
Asa. Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 did billie joe not wash his hair the entire time they were working on these albums or what It wouldn't appear so
blitzkriegdeb Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 did billie joe not wash his hair the entire time they were working on these albums or what They all got progressively more gnarly as the documentary went on
Brian Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Hearing the Kill The DJ demo makes me want them to put out all of the trilogy demos... I loved the raw sound to it. it was like "dayum thats nice!"
Gregorovich Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 At what point was the KTDJ demo? I don't recall hearing it.

On ¡DOS! album credits Lady Cobra is listed also as writerAt what point was the KTDJ demo? I don't recall hearing it. Almost the beggining
DookieLukie Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Hearing the Kill The DJ demo makes me want them to put out all of the trilogy demos... When do they play a demo?
BradGreenDay Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 arrrrgghhhh Still waiting for my copy to arrive... Cant wait to watch it
Schlappy Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 They all got progressively more gnarly as the documentary went on And Billie with his scraggly beard. I'm almost positive he sleeps on the rug in the studio during the recording period. I think if someone opened a curtain they would have all hissed and cowered from the light
The Tracks @ Christie Road Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Finally got to watch the full movie!!! My favorite parts had to be Billie and Mike's acid trip story, Mike's "I'm a professional!" rant, every time Billie told the audience to fucking get over it when they played new songs instead of old ones, and pretty much all of Tre's random shenanigans "I'm like a little kid. I just need to play with the box." I also loved the Serena and Mike ping pong bonus clip lmao!
Backyard Skulls Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I watched it last night, was really good. I laughed so hard at the acid story and when Tre (?) had that big seaweed monster suit on
