The Tracks @ Christie Road Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 That is what I was wondering about. I got the digital downloads for the albums at 9:00 Pacific Time which would be midnight Eastern Time. I'm surprised that I haven't gotten the digital download for this yet. I didn't think there was a digital download for it....it only shows digital copies for the CDs on my order list. ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRE! Ultimate Box Set: ¡UNO! CD / Book with Slip Case ¡UNO! Mozzabillie Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I really enjoyed the 1,2,3,4 Go Show! Especially when they played Lazy Bones in such a small atmosphere, it made them look like a local band which was really neat because there aren't many band's of GD's stature that would play a show that small! I didn't think there was a digital download for it....it only shows digital copies for the CDs on my order list. ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRE! Ultimate Box Set: ¡UNO! CD / Book with Slip Case ¡UNO! The store is not letting me sign into my account for some reason right now. It doesn't recognize my email even though it is the correct email. LOL I see me in the 1234 Go Record store part of the DVD.
The Tracks @ Christie Road Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 There are other people that have posted that they have already received their email for the download. huh...well it's midnight here and I haven't received anything.
Mozzabillie Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Just to let you guys know, the Digital version comes with the bonus features at the end of the movie! I'm confused (and it doesn't take much to do that ). Did you get the physical boxset and get the digital version of the DVD, too, or did you just get the digital version of all of it? I got the physical boxset with the digital CD's and thought the DVD was going to include the digital, also, but I could be wrong (and that isn't unusual ).
OldWhatsHisFace Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Omfg I got the email 12 days ago saying it had shipped! I do live in New Zealand but come on! And can someone take a couple of pictures so I can see what the case is like? Is it like the others?
kerplunkerr Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 If you freeze frame the Makeout Party footage you can tell it's Billie's hands poppin' pills etc, you can see his tattoos/weird hitch-hiker thumb I don't know if all of that footage is real but I'd guess most of it is.... at one point its a bunch of people in a motel room playing with firecrackers and a lot of beer bottles and rings left on the nightstands And some cocaine. Party! (no. cocaine isn't cool.) I must be honest, it scared me. I mean, pills + alcohol + cocaine and, if im right, LSD are not a good combination ! For anyone! But yeah, it could be fake..and it also could be real..i, as much as i hate it, think its real. And also i guess one of those people was Lady Cobra for sure!! But yeah, it seemed they were having lot of fun Besides that, i love the part when Joey and Travis started moshing while Lazy Bones! It was amazing hahah. Actually there are lot of favorite parts to me I dont know if you noticed but when Billie (i guess it was him) was doing his skateboard with his friends, there was a face on the board and it was Adrienne's I really liked the part of Jason White with his cats!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND Mike doing that weird voice!! mmm what else? oh yes, because of the RS interview we knew the things Billie Joe went through/keep fighting with (yknow..) and it amazed me how happy he was while playing his guitar, having fun with the boys, spending time with his family, and that! It really inspired me cause he didn't let that put him down! I know he wouldn't be sad, or yelling or complaining all the time but, i dont know, somehow i find it very inspiring he looked so happy doing the things he loves with the ones he loves. I believe my love for this band has grown even more now
WhiteTim Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I coulda sworn the box set were promised cautro as digital but thats been since August that kinda sucks
Mr Panda Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 How come there are no torrents? :angry i was thinking of buying this one
greendepent Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Well, this was disappointing. I guess that the preview was too much
J&TheNight Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Am I the only one that's a little bothered by the fact that the cases are not made out of the same material? And Mike's rant in the studio about his bass sound in his ears, hilarious! No, it bothers me a lot. It's a thinner, cheaper case with no pictures. It's not even a book! It's paperback and flimsy. It's reflective. =[ I love the rant. XD Also, for those asking, I'll be posting several pictures of it all tomorrow.
Davis Weiss Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 youre not alone the corners of mine got a little damaged in the mail. i mean im not going to cry but still... Mine did too
scottrowan200 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Even tho my tracker says its due today I doubt it. It's just got drove around England all night. I expected it to be on Scotland or out for delivery today
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Good documentary. I found myself satisfied, but not necessarily wowed. I think the VH1 "preview" really ruined it for me, even though I only watched it once. Highlight for me was the Echoplex footage that ended it. I'd probably watched that version of Stay The Night 100 times on YouTube... Glad to see a hi-def version of it. So much emotion. The some of the final mixes don't do the songs justice. Most of the songs sound fantastic and but a few of them of them just need more oomph and more character in their production. Rob really dropped the ball there. This. I found myself not hating Nightlife while watching it. That's a problem. Songs like Fuck Time, Kill The DJ, Nightlife, 8th Ave. Serenade all sound so much better live... I just hate how much unreached potential all these songs have on the CDs when you compare them to what you hear on the DVD. I guess, for me, it's just overall kind of difficult to watch the DVD because of all the excitement/hype they had during the recording process, and seeing how it all panned out now... It's kind of sad. OK, I'll stop being a Debbie Downer now... But seriously, really wish the trilogy would make a comeback. These songs are really good.
WhiteTim Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I loved the documentary the VH1 version did take away alot of freshness but that's my fault for watching it I wish I didnt skip this and the broadway idiot at sxsw

Iminyourcoffeemaker Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Has anyone noticed that if you change the audio track in the middle of playing, it plays another part entirely? What is this? Are there 2 versions of the documentary in one?
