Again?! why do they do this? I mean...at this point I wonder if they will sell it in stores. Maybe they are waiting for Green Day to come back with promotion and stuff to promote it

First Warner can't decide on what to call the documentary and now they don't know when they want to release it...

They have to reprint the covers... first from ¡DVD! to ¡Quatro! and now from ¡Quadro! to ¡Cuatro!

This is the first time I really think Green Day should change Warner for something more reliable.

They also had to change the title in the movie to cuatro which means remastering and reapproving

But that makes no sense...why would they have to promote something we have already bought?! Especially when they actually put forward the release of Tre and didn't hold back the release of any of the actual albums going on release to the general public which are far more important than a dvd that is a boxset exclusive anyway.

I thought that nothing can changed sheduldes and dates more often then dean's office of my uni. It was mistake. However, Green Day is now the most unpredictable band in the world.

I'm still a huge advocate of Green Day leaving Warner after this trilogy fiasco. They have had a great run with them but I think that everyone would benefit from a change of scenery so to say. The band might benefit from being on a smaller label that isn't ran by their producer, and the label is pushing away a lot of the fans, almost intentionally it would seem! ;)

they keep pushing it back to build suspense, duh duh duuuuuh

Green Day should leave warner..

Them leaving Warner is something that's much easier said than done

Well of course, but it's still possible. Many bands have left labels before their contracts are fulfilled. Green Day's NOT Being fullfilled is the issue, making the trilogy count as one? that's ridiculous.

Green Day will leave Warner after their next album seeing as they have only 1 left with them so long time away ......

Posted

Bit they leave Warner they will lose all their independance they have at Warner...

Tsk tsk! Should've checked their Spanish dictionaries when they first named it :P

But yeah I guess they're waiting until the band's available to promote it. Honestly though after the shambles that was the promotion of 21st CB and the even bigger shambles that is the promotion of the trilogy I've given up any hope of Green Day's work ever being promoted half decently. I can't be bothered to think about it, I expect nothing and anything that's done remotely well is a surprise bonus.

I didn't want to see the 30min. preview but maybe I should now :P

No, seriously  They can have all the reasons in the world, and have the absolute right; but at least do a press release to let everybody know that the date is later. Is that so hard to do???

Green Day yes, I can't agree more. But these " much ado about nothing " and numerous arguments here are all Warner's fault. Green Day can make unpredictable things, but changing the release date something like the third time is just too much, come on!

I don't know - Warner's just toying with us or what!?!?!? ( no one likes being toyed with - it can lead to REALLY unpredictable reactions from i.e. fans ;) )

Maybe the band asked for the push back who knows

That's possible yea, but I'm just not really feeling that. Especially because it's been moved back so many times.

Hell, what if they are adding in the iHeart incident and such? All of the time after that to now. It's possible Billie sat down, did a lot of talking to a camera and they're adding that in so we fans can understand what happened fully. That would lend a hand to why they haven't mentioned it in interviews really at all.

I'm doubting all of that of course, but it's in the air now as I have yet to see someone post that.

Also, on Green Days independence on Warner, I don't see that as much of an advantage now. Tons of labels would try to snatch them up if given the chance, giving the band a lot of leverage and room for negotiation. Plus a decent producer who isn't so damn close to the group would be fantastic. This trilogy would have benefited if a producer had stepped in a little bit more here and there. Same amount of tracks, same songs, just a bit more work.

oh i really hope not. He doesnt have to say anything and besides i dont think theres even more to the story

Guys this is clearly a test! how many times can we fuck with these fans before they show up at Warner with pitchforks and torches? Last fan standing gets guitar picks from the studio! ...soon.

Maybe, but adding some material here and there seems looks like a more understandable explanation.

They just need someone from completely outside world - someone who will tell them the truth about the music and the lyrics - not a person who will say that " everything is awesome guys, another song please ".

If this never gets released as a stand-alone release, i shall cry profusely.

I can bring my broken guitars to destroy the windows and doors ( and my old keybord as well ), and my dad has two pairs of garden shears and shovels ( and some other dangerous stuff ). We can even start occupating Warner's headquarters now if anyone wants to...guitar picks will be all ours :eyebrows:

NOO, DON'T TAKE EVERYTHING ABOVE TOO SERIOUSLY - I'M JUST F**KED UP WITH WAITING AND MY MIND IS PLAYINGTRICKS ON ME :ninja:
