Yep. It's gonna be over 2 hours in full length.

I don't if this has been said yet or not, but ¡Quatro! confirms one thing: There is 'professionally' recorded material from Kerplunk era. Also, this video made me wonder if this time the live DVD and CD from the tour will have studio quality like the videos in ¡Quatro!. My guess is it will.

I watched this twice. What's the footage from Kerplunk era?

I saw nothing of the sort in Quatro, either. And I screen capped the whole thing, so I'm pretty confident there isn't any.

That being said, I would bet Green Day does have SOME professional if not quite HD footage from the Kerplunk days.

It's not about a video appearing in ¡Quatro!. We know there is material from Kerplunk era because Billie said that they hadn't have professional recordings of their performances since around Kerplunk times so they felt like if they were in a new band. We do have BiaB or AAF but damn, their new performances have fucking studio quality!

No, he said they haven't played un-recorded songs live for people since kerplunk. There's professional recordings of everything from the irving plaza show, vh1 storytellers, bottom of the hill 97.

I'm sure they've all felt it; Billie admitted to crying when he left for the summer tour as it meant missing his son's first day of his senior year of high school.

Do you have a link to this? Was it in a video or a magazine? I'm just curious because it would be interesting to see.

He said that they haven't played non-released songs for audience since Kerplunk-era.

And I think all of their performances are recorded. They just don't release them. They do have audio from every show on their last tours.

Now I feel kinda bad because I went to that tour, though I don't really have a reason to fell that way. urgh.

No reason to feel bad. It's his job to go on tour...

Come on. That's just little bit too much, it's their work!

Nah, I expressed myself wrong. I meant bad for him ;) I forgot to write the "him" out.

I think it was a radio interview :/ he said it in a light hearted way though. As in, it's sucks, but it's something they have to deal with

Oh well. But not studio quality like in ¡Quatro! I guess because AAF definitely didn't have such surprising quality.

Was it this one? He talks about walking away from his teary-eyed family at about 00:25 :)

Okay, thanks guys. I'll check that interview out when I have time.

I think he mentioned it in a different interview too :)

Finally got around to watching the VH1 highlights yesterday and I thought it was really well done! Can't wait to see the whole thing! Although the part where X-Kid is playing and they all look so happy during those fun, short clips was almost kind of painful to watch, given the current circumstances. Watching the whole thing was almost bittersweet and left me with a somber feeling afterward. Man, I miss seeing them all happy during promotions, live shows, etc. =/

Watching the MTV version. This is awesome. This is why I fucking LOVE this band. Some of the recordings make the songs sound 10000x better than the studio versions. Also, watching this is weird, like watching a video of people having sex after seeing their babies.....

Edit: Mike's kids are so cute

it would be cool if they made quatro a album that had demos, outtakes, and different takes of the songs from uno dos and tre

Do we have a vague idea of when the DVD will actually be out yet?

I was hoping they were gonna do a deluxe version of Tre that had included it. I guess not now though.

Not 100% sure, but I thought some people got an email and in it the date for Quatro got pushed back til January or something.
