We'd be better jumping onto their facebook page "Hey CockMuppets! NOBODY GIVES A FUCK ABOUT BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN TOURING FOR THE SECOND TIME IN 12 MONTHS, WHERE'S OUR MOTHERFUCKING GREEN DAY TOUR YOU SLUT-FUCKS"

Sorry about my outburst there, i'm just coming to grips with the idea we might not see Green Day here next year once they start touring USA for the 20th anniversary of Dookie/10th Anniversary of American Idiot

Yeah, I'm not worried either. Then again, I'm not exactly obsessed with Green Day anymore

I don't know, if they announce a tour I'll get excited but until then I'll just not think about it or hope for it or anything,

I have grown used to this. So I am not worried, they will make it out here eventually. Plus uni has been rather busy lately for me to worry about other things.

sw announcement is on friday.

i feel like they may be on it and play dookie front to back at a festival.

who knooows.

I heard on Triple-M today that they had word that Green Day would be touring downunder in early 2014.

Take this with a grain of salt however. They didn't state any sources other than "we've had word".

Still, I am looking forward to their return!!!

My heart's still beating harder than normal, what the hell it's been a whole day

That made me feel sick.

People keep asking frontier but they answer everyone else's question except anything related to Green Day

they replied back to my email saying that they have no plans for a green day tour - which makes me think even more about sw.

that fucking sucks I have been emailing them every week all year. Months and months ago I got the same reply as you. Maybe Frontier have no plans but surely the band knows that they have to get down here.

i mean, it's probably not going to happen (the sw thing).

they haven't been heavily rumoured at all i don't think - but it was just a thought of mine because they're playing Dookie front to back at reading & leeds and it would make sense that they'd do it at sw beause it will be 2014 (20 year anniversary for Dookie) and they're rumoured to come in summer.

Friday is judgement day.

Yep overlooked for this tour - so buying a plane ticket to somewhere next year ;)

I hope this is true. Then maybe I can talk to my e-pal in Australia about helping me. xD

shit I didn't see this - waiting waiting

i e-mailed triple m asking to confirm that info for me, hahaha.

Yep I messaged them on facebook. Gives me the shits though how they handle it - they certainly didn't handle the Muse release very well. Why say anything at all if you don't know for certain.

to get everyone pumped up i guess.

The excitement of Brixton got us through the springsteen presale and now we only have to wait until 1.15 tomorrow for SW lineup.

Posted

1.16 actually :P

someone posted a fake line-up and it had green day on there. eeeeek.

Posted

someone posted this on some website:

"Throwing out a prediction for SW's top three: NIN, Green Day and Korn."

ugggh i feel sick with anxiety, hahaha.

Posted

On one site it had who would you love to see at SW - sooo many wrote Green Day - nooooooo. 4 hrs to go ;)

Posted

"Rumoured headliners include Nine Inch Nails, Iron Maiden, Slash, Deftones, Green Day and Alice In Chains to name a few!"

on take 40's website.

Posted

i'll be SO excited to finally see them though.

we'll have to wait and see!! :)

The only positive would be that they wouldn't come all this way after 4 years to play a festival. Maybe festivals and small shows like 5000 capacity :D like Brixton. I could live with that
