Dori_Epiphone Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Did you mean: 21st Century Breakdown? American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown are two amazing albums guys o.O
WhatsUpLucas Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown are two amazing albums guys o.O 21st Century Breakdown is an amazing album?
Sleeper Agent. Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 21st Century Breakdown is an amazing album? I don't know, Dookie is shit I actually really like Dookie, it's just a play on words, calm down guys
JaHawk2009 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Okay, that UNO/DOS/TRE shirt is friggin awesome. If tickets don't go on sale next week for a UK tour, I'll be grabbing that, no doubt. Even though I'm already getting the Ultimate Box...
WhatsUpLucas Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I don't know, Dookie is shit I actually really like Dookie, it's just a play on words, calm down guys And Billie is (was?) Basket Case. You know, yesterday. He was complete nuts.
Sleeper Agent. Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 And Billie is (was?) Basket Case. You know, yesterday. He was complete nuts. Yeah, he must have had a six pack of apathy and had the time of his life
! Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Yep, this one. I'm wearing the exact same shirt right now You mean this? Yep thats it
charlatans&saints Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 i listened to UNO! then i went back and listened to everything in order, and it kind of seems like UNO! is like a response to all of their old stuff. like "stay the night" is if he found the girl from 'paper lanterns" 'loss of control" is like the opposite of '86' and "rusty james" is 'walking alone', except he decided not to keep his mouth shut. (i'm sure there are other examples, but i'm only at nimrod) i dont know if that made sense the way i worded it, but i think if you listen to the songs, you'll hear what i mean
Pieces of Truth Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Yep thats it Wow, someone remembers me (okay, you can't see my face, but still) as a woman on that pic. kinda awesome This shirt kicks ass, indeed!

Worth checking when I have time.
Mary711 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 When I first listened to Kill the DJ I thought that I may need some time to get used to it. But now with listening to iUno! as a whole it fits perfectly and I love it. What difference a record can make.
GDM Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I saw a woman on here post a picture of a black shirt that said uno dos tre I think. It looked pretty badass, and I want one. They had those at the Nokia event. They were kickass. http://tanyatanya.smugmug.com/Music/Green-Day/Green-Day-and-Nokia-at-Irving/25431866_d4Ckht#!i=2093718541&k=2cVMpjn

Sanity Loan Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 I just made a cover of "Carpe Diem." Check it out!
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I almost don't dare to post any kind of review here considering how much everyone seems to love the album. Please post it! It's always far more interesting to hear why fans don't like records than it is for some reviewer who has to maintain the status quo of "Green Day aren't actually punk, they're uncool to actually like" etc. etc.
Clockwise Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Angel Blue might be my favorite song on UNO.
Ritz Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I'm really starting to dig the second half of the album now. Sweet 16 is incredible.
Dalya Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I just made a cover of "Carpe Diem." Check it out! youtube.com/watch?v=mt9gUmrbvRo Very good cover, Matt!
OneSongInFrench Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Great cover Matt! I am really digging UNO! It's a breath of fresh air meets familiar air, without really straying TOO far from AI/21 Century, (considering "Rusty James" has the near exact melody of "Before The Lobotomy")
Homero Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Angel Blue might be my favorite song on UNO. like Billie Joe would say, its a fucking crazy fucking good fucking song. haha no, really, I love it, one of my favourites too.
QueenOfSuburbia Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I love Rusty James. And the meaning of it. might be my favorite from the album!!
Heather. Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 The second half is my favorite too. That could have something to do with the fact that I was already too familiar with the first half, which I also find fantastic, but Angel Blue, Rusty James, Fell For You, and Sweet 16 are currently my top 4, which is saying something cause I fucking love Nuclear Family and all those starters. On a different note, do you think it's even possible that Uno debuts at #1? I was looking at Amazon best sellers and the new Mumford & Sons album comes out the same week and is #1 there (and has also been selling longer). I know most hardcore fans ordered via the Green Day webstore, or iTunes, so obviously Amazon isn't the be all end all, but...

It'll suck that it will break their streak, but it should still be in the top 5 I think.
BradGreenDay Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Love every song... the only song that i thought could be better was Loss Of Control. had the album for 3 days have been listening to it ever since
