But considering I've ordered my ultimate box set and I've been waiting years for new Green Day, I've made an exception for this. It's uploading to my iCloud now and then I can listen to it through. I'm so excited!!

I'm just loving the 70s realness they giving us combined with their old-school sound is just who knew they could pull it off this well. my fav songs of the moment are nuclear family, let yourself go, kill the dj, fell for you, troublemaker and sweet 16 (that song gives me beatles feels I LOVE IT) i have to listen to it a couple more times until i can give my final judgement but yeah it is a really fun light album. the lyrics are not complicated and billie vocals are just superb oh yeah forget about the solo's OMG TROUBLEMAKER SOLO IS EPIC. my lord and we are still getting 25 more songs that just crazy when I think about. GREEN DAY FOR LYFE!!!!

But I don't find so much classic Green Day here. Looks like more than a Foxboro album than any other thing. It lacks some good overdrive.

Tek Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Great album...Definitely sounds awesome with my 7.1 surround sound system....glad I'm on vacation from work...I would've listened to this with crappy earbuds. I love all the songs, but funny how I thought from the BBC snips that Fell for You would be my fav song from the unreleased tracks...nope its actually my least fav. Rusty James is my fav...awesome!!!!!! Don't see how anyone could hate on Loss of Control - I miss the fast angry Green Day, but then again I think I could say Insomniac is my fav Green Day album. It came out right when I turned 15 so it was perfect for an angry teenage Tek! lol My only complaint is really on ME lol...I wish Green Day didn't release so many songs from the album before it released. I understand that with 3 albums in a short time they have to push the music out...BUT normally we would have had the one single before the album was released...then the rest would've sounded fresh. I mean imagine if Oh Love was the only song we heard and then we heard Nuclear Family, Kill the DJ, Let Yourself Go studio quality for the first time. Like I said...its my fault for overplaying those songs like crazy before they came out...but you know what I mean
