BlackBaboon Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Let yourself go is definitely a low point. There's just no substance to it, but aside from that this whole album is great.
WhatsUpLucas Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 is it decent high quality sound?? Awesome. Release quality.
sampy Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 is it decent high quality sound?? It's great
Comic Sans Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Carpet Diet CARPET DIET CARPET DIET? LOL
tresrocknrollgf Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Wow, i'm really surprised. Everything sounds significantly better than the singles did. Not saying they were bad, but this is very different, and i love it.
Guest Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 CARPET DIET? LOL Inside joke. I know it's "Carpe Diem," but I will never let that go.
PanicAttack! Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 It's out? Well fucking cheers then! (Yes, I made good use of those stickers we got handed out at the London show)
Guest Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Let Yourself Go is still completely badass and awesome, but you knew that.
WhatsUpLucas Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Let Yourself Go is still completely badass and awesome, but you knew that. this
JaHawk2009 Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I have now listened to the entire album in a single sitting. I genuinely love every single song here. The only weak point for me is Oh Love, but even that's awesome as fuck!! Basically; Almost on a level with American Idiot in my own opinion. That may change as I listen to it more, but there havent been any songs on this first sitting that have jumped out at me as ones to skip.
TheGreenDayKidd Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 If DOS and TRE are that amazing as UNO, this is epic!! I'm sure they are actually! UNO is amazing really, for me it's so much better than 21CB..
Vespertine Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Fell For You's verse really reminds me of another Green Day song. Not sure which one though.
Elena Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 i'm glad that you guys all love the new album since everyone had complete different opinions on the singles, especially Oh Love ...aw yeah makes the wait even more interesting
Wild One Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Kill the DJ is still one of my favorites. SO good.
Micky Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 omfg stop asking for the link! it's not that hard to understand.
Guest Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Kill the DJ is still very blah. Catchy guitar, but it doesn't sound like Green Day.
Comic Sans Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Have anyone that crazy lyrics for Loss Of Control?
Yussef Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Overall I give it a 5.4. I'd have loved it as a 12 year old.
Idiotic Tendency... Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 If i could change one thing of this album it would be Stay The Night. I dont like the way it's so slow at the start and then speeds up into the song which is why i created how it should sound to me. http://soundcloud.com/idiotictendency/green-day-stay-the-night
Sarcasm Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Let yourself go is probably the only song whose studio version kicks more ass than the live version.
Comic Sans Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Overall I give it a 5.4. 5.4/5 or 5.4/10 ?
