Trina Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Does anyone have or know where I can find the first rated R version of the Oh Love music video? The one that was out before the one on Playboy...It was up on Green Day INC but I couldn't get it to work on my busted laptop. Can't stand not having seen something GD related and it doesn't seem to be anywhere anymore. :\

TaylorKlinke Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Is it February yet? I can't waitttt for the concert!
DannyDirnt Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Sorry for the question avalanche haha Why did Warning do so bad? I mean, it's my fav GD album, so maybe bad promotion? I like all the songs in the album!
SamMacs Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Sorry for the question avalanche haha Why did Warning do so bad? I mean, it's my fav GD album, so maybe bad promotion? I like all the songs in the album! It's my favourite album too! It probably didn't do as well as their previous albums because the world is stupid .
Pieces of Truth Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Sorry for the question avalanche haha Why did Warning do so bad? I mean, it's my fav GD album, so maybe bad promotion? I like all the songs in the album! Because people can't accept changes and are dumb and ignorant. Or they just didn't/don't like that music style. that's alright.
ThibautDookie Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Sorry for the question avalanche haha Why did Warning do so bad? I mean, it's my fav GD album, so maybe bad promotion? I like all the songs in the album! It was considered too pop by fans, i think They tried to change their music, but a lot of fans didn't enjoy it.
Comic Sans Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Sorry for the question avalanche haha Why did Warning do so bad? I mean, it's my fav GD album, so maybe bad promotion? I like all the songs in the album! Too pop but still great
TheJedi Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Sorry for the question avalanche haha Why did Warning do so bad? I mean, it's my fav GD album, so maybe bad promotion? I like all the songs in the album! It's one of my favorites too ^^ and yeah, the promotion wasn't very good i think. Didn't they produce it themselves? That can be why the promotion was bad. i might be wrong now x)
mbk Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Sorry for the question avalanche haha Why did Warning do so bad? I mean, it's my fav GD album, so maybe bad promotion? I like all the songs in the album! I think that even though it was years later, people were still stuck on Dookie, and that's what they wanted from Green Day. Nimrod did well because it had a huge hit with Good Riddance, but Warning didn't have any runaway hits.
DannyDirnt Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Thanks everyone! Did MIke have any eating disorders during the early days? Because in the pics from 1989-1991 he looks extremely skinny.
Todd Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Thanks everyone! Did MIke have any eating disorders during the early days? Because in the pics from 1989-1991 he looks extremely skinny. Nope, that's just his build. He's scrawny
greendayawtw Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Are any of the tour dates going to be moved/cancelled due to Billie Joe being in rehab?
Uno1Dos2Tre3 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Does anyone know when Billie Joe started using the ''Heeeeyoooo'''s during their live shows?
Justin Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Does anyone know when Billie Joe started using the ''Heeeeyoooo'''s during their live shows? I remember around 2001 he was doing it a little bit during Knowledge. No way near as much as he does now.
DannyDirnt Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Does anyone know when Billie Joe started using the ''Heeeeyoooo'''s during their live shows? I think he did it once in 2000 during 2000 Light Years Away
VisionsofGreenDay115 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I feel this is a question looming through everyone's mind. That is, will Billie Joe be okay by the time tour starts? He appears to be in serious rehab and even Rob Cavallo said he doesnt know whether Billie will be okay before or after Christmas. Im just wondering for two reasons: 1) Because Im a Green Day fan who worries about their lead singer and 2) I have tickets to see Green Day December 10th here in Arizona and it will be my first Green Day show. Any comments would help my insanity.
Annie, get your gun Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Thanks everyone! Did MIke have any eating disorders during the early days? Because in the pics from 1989-1991 he looks extremely skinny. I don't think he ever had. But on the "Green Day Bits" from 1,039/SOSH booklet it says: "Mike lost lots of weight on tour, and he's already pretty skinny... Mike lives at Billie's house where there's usually lots of food... why then does Billie go up the street to roadi Shawn's house and eat all of Shawn's food?..." I know it doesn't point any eating disorder but I always found that bit funny (among some others)

Any comments would help my insanity. No one really knows. All we can do is hope. I don't think there's even room for speculation since we know nothing really. Only that he hasn't seen Mike in weeks (or hadn't the day Stray Heart was released) and Rob Cavallo doesn't know wether he'll be back before Christmas. I don't think he ever had. But on the "Green Day Bits" from 1,039/SOSH booklet it says: "Mike lost lots of weight on tour, and he's already pretty skinny... I know it doesn't point any eating disorder but I always found that bit funny (among some others) Well, it kinda leaves you to your own imagination. It says Mike lost lots of weight, but there's lots of food where he lives. However, it happened while he was on tour, and it was his first tour ever so maybe he didn't really know what was going to happen and just didn't see so much activity coming or something. Or stress. It's not very clear. But it helped anyway, thanks
Hermione Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Does anyone know when Billie Joe started using the ''Heeeeyoooo'''s during their live shows? I've watched videos of 1994 shows where he was doing it, he's been doing it ever since they started playing big venues. It wasn't exactly the same as now, he used to make loads of random silly noises or play out of key notes on his guitar or just say a load of random stuff and goad the audience a bit. But sometimes that included going "Heeey-oh". He got it from Freddie Mercury who famously used to do it, I guess it started off being one of many random things he used to kind of mockingly get the crowd to chant (as he used to be a lot more mean to the crowd lol) and it ended up becoming a signature thing later on when he started being nicer and putting on more of a theatrical performance where chants with the crowd are a regular cheerful part of the show rather than just done to take the piss.

Yeah, and I love how mean he was in 90s hahaha

WhiteTim Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 "Angel and the Jerk" is a song Billie Joe did with Penelope Houston. Ahh ok cool
No Rhyme Or Reason Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I think it was only released on the Friends soundtrack in 1999, but I could be wrong.
