I was on Green Day's wikipedia page and saw Sean Hughes listed as a former member. I've been a fan for a long time and have never heard this name. Anybody has any info about this?

He was the first bassist, and Mike was the rhythm guitarist at the time. He was only with the band for a few months before Mike switched to bass.

That was back in 87-88 when they didn't even have a drummer

Hi! I was looking in the Green Day store to see if I can get a cool t-shirt and I found this one:

http://www.bandstores.co.uk/shop/greenday/proddetail.php?prod=12142041&cat=2004

It says preorder, but it says that it will be released on September 24th. So it should be already out. If I buy it, when will it arrive? Not only because it says preorder but because I've never bought anything via Internet. And how much is the shipping? It says nothing, is it free? I only have to pay 13,99 pounds?

I am really not sure where to put this question, so I decided here would be the best place xD But I was wondering if any of you know why Green Day put out an international superhits album? Like usually compilation albums are made after a band decides to quit or hasn't made albums in a really long time...? And I have read that a lot of people thought Green Day was done after they put out that album...but obviously not, thank goodness (: So, yeah any ideas why?

Because Warner doesn't like accepting donations directly.

That answer made me chuckle. Thanks :P

Does Green Day own Jingletown, and they rent it out? Or have they been there for so long it's 'like' they own it?

Loads of bands actually put out greatest hits records during different points of their career. Hell The Cure have about 3 of them!

They own it - it used to be studio 880, but they bought it, refurnished it and renamed it (880 moved). So it's theirs to use as and when though I guess they rent it out too.

Yeah, like a few people already said, lots of artists put out Greatest Hits collections but continue making regular studio albums after that. For example: No Doubt, Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Garbage, and most recently, Kelly Clarkson.

Sometimes it kind of separates two different "eras" or something. Like No Doubt had their first 3 (5) albums, their greatest hits, then Gwen went solo for two albums, and now the band is back. With Green Day, they were decreasing in popularity and were almost written off as has-beens who'd never recreate the success of Dookie, but then they surged back to the top with American Idiot a few years later, after International Superhits.

Not sure why it's still a pre-order. But usually you do have to pay shipping (and it varies - it could be from $3 to like $15 depending on what and where you buy), and it should arrive probably in a week or so. I haven't bought any clothes from GD in a while, so I forget what the shipping cost is exactly....

Buying from the Internet is great, btw. I do all the time - it's a good way to get things that are hard to find otherwise :)

Thanks. But I'm not going to buy it in the end. I thought it was very cheap because it was 13,99 punds, then discovered the shipping cost is 2.75 pounds, and when I converted it all it's around 20€ so it's not that cheap.

Hey, I even paid 19,99€ for a freaking Dookie Shirt from 2009, and the shirt you were going to buy is a new one. So the price's totally fine :P

and there's this too! http://www.setlist.f...n-13d2ed61.html

I go here to get legit info, not BS. is there a setlist site that isnt full of it?

Setlist.fm is one of the best setlist websites around, you've just got to learn to differentiate the real setlists from the BS. I haven't mentioned this because I have no proof that they're wrong but look at most of the Warped Tour 2000 setlists posted on setlist.fm by evol, they look too good to be true.

Now to answer your question, here is a more accurate website with setlists, but it's exclusive for Green Day-

How do we know the setlist of Rod's Hickory Pit 87?

Sorry if someone has asked this before :)

Where's this " Jane Street " that Billie sings in Sweet 16?
