Jason Freese appered on AI as well you going to tell me hes famous too?

Well yeah, he was a session guy for plenty of punk acts and now he's actually in Green Day. Everyone who saw the videos for WMUWSE and 21 Guns saw him and everyone who read their booklets for Green Day, The Vandals, and NOFX learned his name. Not to mention that he's the brother of Josh Freese, who's even more famous than him.

The only thing that Kathleen Hanna being on American Idiot helps to show is that she's friends with Green Day. Lady Cobra featured on a Green Day song, and you can't tell me that shows she's famous.

HELPS to show. Don't ignore words.

Some of them. Not as much Jason Freese, but definitely Kathleen Hanna.

I didn't:

My point is, she's on American Idiot because the band wanted her there. She's not there because she's famous, if she was they'd have made a bigger deal of it and used it as a selling point.

Is she friends with Harmonix as well? Cause Rebel Girl is on Rock Band.

I'm just laughing at Rebel Girl inspiring Letterbomb when KYE is literally a copy paste of it.

Just the drums. And unless there's an interview I missed, Rebel Girl didn't inspire Letterbomb but She's a Rebel.

He tears up his buttons as in movies, to my part I've tried but it never worked.

Damn, your new pic has really thrown me off tonight...

Same.

When Rebel Girl came on one time I thought it was KYE until the other instruments came in.

Sorry guys :P

Irrelevant. I never said she's not famous, I just said her appearance on American Idiot means nothing in terms of demonstrating her fame.

Aaron Cometbus wrote it (he's Pinhead Gunpowder's main songwriter, Billie's only written a couple of their songs). Although Billie did sing it and he probably shares some of the sentiment.

Ah ok, thanks for the info! My mistake, I just kind of assumed Billie wrote it.

Who is in your pic now?

It's Chloe and Danny from Skarlett Riot.

As someone who doesn't own any of the albums physically to check the liner notes and can't be arsed to look it up (:P), was Sobrante still drumming on Sweet Children, or had Tre taken over at that point?

Tre didn't come along until Kerplunk.

The clue is in how bad the drums are on Sweet Children :P

Yes, John left after they returned from their summer tour in 1990, and then Tre returned and played any fall 1990 shows. So Sweet Children was John's last recordings.

How was Sweet Children his last? They weren't even Green Day yet and he played on their first album.

Sweet Children was an EP recorded by Green Day in 1990, in addition to being their former band name.

I thought that the Sweet Children EP was the EP that Sweet Children recorded.

1039 isn't even a real album though, it's just a collection of EPs.

I know, but didn't they come out after Sweet Children?

Yeah. Sweet Children was 1990, 1039 1991.

That's a mindfuck to read. Sorry.

So doesn't that mean that those EPs featured Sobrante and not Tre?
