AlissaGoesRAWR Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Did Mike legally change his surname to Dirnt? I'm just wondering because of how Brittney goes by Brittney Cade Dirnt as opposed to Pritchard. And aren't his kids' last names Pritchard?
green day is Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Did Mike legally change his surname to Dirnt? I'm just wondering because of how Brittney goes by Brittney Cade Dirnt as opposed to Pritchard. He and Tré are still credited on ASCAP (and I believe they also have some credits with BMI) by their real names, as well as movies and shows with which they've been affiliated in the credits so I'd say that they haven't changed their names. Brittney may just do it for funsies or because that's how her husband is most known.
Spike Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 And aren't his kids' last names Pritchard? No idea, I guess they must be, based on what Zack said. He and Tré are still credited on ASCAP (and I believe they also have some credits with BMI) by their real names, as well as movies and shows with which they've been affiliated in the credits so I'd say that they haven't changed their names. Brittney may just do it for funsies or because that's how her husband is most known. Ah ok, that makes sense. Thanks for the info!

fatherotti Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Does anyone know what show JAR premiered at? Like the earliest appearance? Was the show recorded?
Todd Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Does anyone know what show JAR premiered at? Like the earliest appearance? Was the show recorded? South Carolina 1998 is the earliest recording, it was played before that in 1995 though once.

Spike Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 does anyone know what guitar Billie is playing at around 0:56? I believe it's a Gretsch Anniversary 65, but it's really hard to tell. I'm 99% sure it's a Gretsch, but it looks like it's been modded since it seems to have three pickups.

fatherotti Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Billie Joe instagramming acoustic stuffs, was he practicing for a Green Day acoustic album? Haha. Just saying. It'd be awesome. An acoustic compilation, to revisit some hits from previous albums. I'd buy it!

WorryRock02 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Hey!!! what guitar use Billie in Macy's day Parade Music Video? Thanx =)
Spike Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 ok thanks I've just noticed the layout of the knobs on that guitar, and it seems to actually be a Harmony H59 Rocket. 100% sure, the knobs and pickup layout are a big giveaway. Hey!!! what guitar use Billie in Macy's day Parade Music Video? Thanx =) That's a good question! It's an archtop of some kind, and they're generally very difficult to identify as they can be truly unique in some cases. Given the lack of name on the headstock and bizarre paint job I'd guess it's custom built. I'd love to know myself.
