It was just nice to see him though during all the trilogy hype. Ah, how different things were this time last year...
fatherotti Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 What Warped Tour 2000 gig did this Good Riddance take place at? I'm curious if the whole gig is available on audio. Sorry about the embedding, those fucking cock swallows disabled it haha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcZRHON860I

Jollyroger118 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Can anyone find the poem or know the author of the poem that She was based on? I'm pretty sure Billie said it was also called She. Thank you
Iva Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Can anyone find the poem or know the author of the poem that She was based on? I'm pretty sure Billie said it was also called She. Thank you I doubt that would be public domain.

Thank you I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was a poem that his girlfriend of the time wrote herself. Hence his response.
Jollyroger118 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Oh really I thought she just showed him a poem. I'm guessing it was Ms. Amanda as the songs about her and she was his girlfriend at the time
Todd Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Oh really I thought she just showed him a poem. I'm guessing it was Ms. Amanda as the songs about her and she was his girlfriend at the time Yes, it was just a poem she wrote in her notebook or something, not something that would be online. But great question though!
Certified Nimrod Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 How do they make the beeping sound in Murder City? OMG: where can I find an HQ version of "DREAMCATCHER"??? I fell in love with that song. Thanks a lot =) There's a recording on GDA.
Guest Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 How do they make the beeping sound in Murder City? They gave Tré cocaine and had him go on national TV.
green day is Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 How do they make the beeping sound in Murder City? If not artificially, then by plucking a string and turning the signal from the guitar on and off. In morse code, it translates to AWAWAWAW. Ie; it's just following a rhythm. However, in the background of American Eulogy, a morse code message can be heard saying "We are the class of '13".
Spike Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 However, in the background of American Eulogy, a morse code message can be heard saying "We are the class of '13". Wow. Mind blown.
Todd Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 What date was this performed? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoG2MxrF7Ls

That's really fucking cool what part?
green day is Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 That's really fucking cool what part? "Mayday this is not a test, as the neighborhood burns America is falling" It may be hard to hear, I just know of it from the multitracks.
Bastard of 1969 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 What date was this performed? I read it somewhere it was performed around 2002. I don't know the date. Oh, dammit, i just realized it happened in 1997. They performed that in short-lived "The Influences" show. To be honest, date is unknown.

Ham Pascale Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 That can't be 1997, Tré is wearing a warning shirt, so possibly 2001-2002 That's 2000, for sure.
