Yes I think Billie never graduated.

Yeah, Billie dropped out of high school before he graduated/got a diploma, he did it when he turned 18 so it would've been a few months before he was supposed to. He's mentioned the fact that he doesn't have one in quite a few interviews over the years so pretty sure he doesn't have anything, unless he decided to get qualifications more recently and we don't know about it.

Any of you been around long enough to know when/where/how some of the early 1989 shows surfaced? and anyone know what the most recent 1994 show to surface was? I wish there was a chronological list of when each show surfaced.

In the 92Y interview in 2010/2011 with Michael Mayer, Billie mentions how he has a "tenth grade education", but I also got the impression that he definitely made it to his final year of high school, based on a lot of other interviews. Course, how much he was "learning" during that time is a different question, and perhaps that's more what he was referring to.

Oh yeah he's definitely said he was in his final year when he dropped out. He said it was just after he turned 18 and that he knew he wasn't going to pass his diploma (or however you'd describe it) anyway so the best decision was just to quit and focus on what he wanted to do, music.

DirtyRottenForgotten Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I was in a record store the other day and seen a copy of Bullet In A Bible with a different cover it was just the guy being struck by a lightning bolt and Billie Joe was not on the cover. Everything else appeared normal on it. Does anyone know why the cover was different? I haven't seen any other copies like it.
