Doesn't look very rare, just a promo copy and that's it. There is a rare "not finished version" I have but that's all I've ever seen.

What's on the not finished version

I believe the "not finished version" just contains an alternate version of Hold On, which can found in the download area. :)

There might be more, that was just the only noticeable difference. I'll get around to checking it properly one day.

I'm curious....Would the promo version I bought possibly have different sounding mixes or something? Like the promo Shenanigans? Or is it just the plain album? :) Either way it's still a great edition to my collection. It's my first obscure Green Day item haha! :)

Pretty sure it's just the plain album that was sent out a little bit earlier. The Shenanigans one was labeled as unmastered, that's why it was actually different.

Ah ok! Thanks! Still, very happy with my newest addition. They have a lot of promos on Ebay right now going for pretty cheap...which is surprising for me cause I tought those things usually go for hundreds.

I was just wondering if any one knows where I can find Billie's new white and black striped shirt. I found some but they aren't that close, a website link would be awesome!

Something I've wondered about for a while: Are the first four songs of American Idiot played in standard tuning, or half step down? Though many of the songs sound like they should be played half step down, the rest of American Idiot is played in standard (I believe BOBD is standard with capo on 1st fret?) I've looked through several live videos, but they're all too blurry, or show Billie singing instead of the guitar.

I think they're all in standard tuning. The only other tuning on that album is Whatsername which is in Drop D.

Is there an actual reason everyone writes "Greenday"? Like it's two words. They're real words too, what could possibly make anyone think it was one?

Probably the same reason people write Billy instead of Billie. They just don't know! :P

Probably because there's loads of bands that stick two words together to make a name like that (Radiohead, Coldplay, Nickelback, Soundgarden, Motorhead etc). If someone doesn't know either way whether it's one or two words they just guess.

Well obviously they don't know. It's just the reason for assuming it's one word I can't fathom.

There's far more that put a space between words than that don't. It's just not logical to assume they're one word, especially when all their albums and everything put it as two.

IDK it doesn't matter much it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

It must just sound (to people who aren't as familiar with the band and who aren't totally used to it being two words) like a name that would fit well as one word I guess.

That story in the Kerplunk about that girl killing her parents isn't true, right?
