It's the trilogy that was overproduced, if anything. 21CB is supposed to sound grand and kinda Queen-ish

i guess they don't play Lazy Bones maybe because it's still to personnal to Billie and Kill the DJ because it sucks. (sorry haha don't be mad)

but seriously nobody knows. maybe they want to keep some suprises for the rest of the tour like they did when they added Stray Heart, Nuclear Family & Missing You (those weren't playing in the first leg). hope they gonna add DRB soon though.

I was at the first arena show of the tour (Chicago) and they played Stray Heart, it just wasn't an every night thing.

Nah, it was a tad bit over produced. It wasn't like massively overproduced, but they put a lot of work and money and time into recording it the wrong way for the sound they wanted.

Wow. It hurts to see that on a Green Day site. Saying you don't like an album just because it is associated with a stereotype of people. That's what Green Days about, not caring what other people think about even if you follow a "stereotypical" path and they stand for breaking those stereotypes not being emo, punk, goth and all that. Just being a part of the Green Day family.

In Billie's last Rolling Stone interview he said that he can't even listen to Lazy Bones anymore (because of what he went through) so I can't imagine it'll get played for a while. Who knows why they haven't played Kill the DJ. Kind of weird for them not to considering it was a single and all.

I strongly believe Lazy Bones will never be played live again. It is one of those songs who brings up so many bad memories for him. It's like Restless Heart Syndrome, he said he never wants to play that song live again. And I love Kill The DJ, it sounds awesome live, I don't get why they don't play that song anymore. They should have Kill The DJ, Makeout Party, Wild One and 8th Avenue Seranade back on their setlist.

I don't openly like it at school because there are some peoplt that I know that are total posers and claim to love Green Day, but only that one album. I'd prefer not to be associated with those certain people. Is that a problem? Am I not allowed to have my own opinion? I didn't realize I had to live my life according to Green Day. You probably think that I should also hate George Bush and that smoking weed or doing meth is okay because of Green Day? You're judging me because I judge other people. You're just as guilty here. You don't know me, I don't know you. The people at my school that I don't want to be associated with, I DO know them.

That setlist is complete bullshit. Don't use tht site for old shows pr sectret shows. They played Loss of Control as the opener, remember in cuatro? They also played Fell for You, we have clips of that, and they did not play 1000 hours

Why do a lot of people not care for 21st century breakdown that much? I admit I har mixed feelings for it but its not a bad album. For the people that kinda don't like it or just hate it why do you? What is it that isn't liked? And what do people mean by its over produced?

I think they're trying to say that it's too polished compared to other Green Day albums. Trilogy songs were recorded in a single take to have overdubs added later and the first four albums took very little time to make.

...I was ready to ask you what on Earth were you on about, until I read the word "school" and that's where I stopped. Would not want to go through school and liking things ever again. However, there's one thing I'm sure of: never judge a band, artist or a genre through its fans. A lot of people who like my favourite musician do worse drugs than what you think an average Green Day fan should (?!?!) and that doesn't stop me from being straight-edge myself. Imagine if everybody who liked Queen was trying to dress like Freddie?

As for PRODUCTION, if you want an example of an overproduced album, look at every other thing in today's mainstream pop.

Well they did some sort of short European tour recently, so they're known outside of California for sure, maybe not huge
