The Platypus! Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 No one can answer your question for sure, but it's more than likely they will. You should be patient; it's unlikely tour dates will be announced any time soon. I know, I just hope they do thank you!
Jon Benjamin Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 What show is this from? It was in the Born To Be documentary.
musso_kn Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Aside from Reading and Leeds, which British music festivals have Green Day played? Oh, am I right in saying that they've played R&L five times (1995, 2001, 2004, 2010, 2012)?

Lucero Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Does anyone knows in wich hotel Green Day will stay? I really want to know them, it's like a dream and now it's time to make it come true, I'm going to both concerts and I don't know what I can do to meet them but I have to do my best, any advice?
petros Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 My advice is to not stalk and try to find them in their hotel...Would you like a stranger start talking to you and asking for pics and stuff after you rocked for thousands of people?
JIGD13 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Kerrang released today their 50 Greatest rockstars in the world today, do you know if Billie is in that list?
StuckWithRob Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Aside from Reading and Leeds, which British music festivals have Green Day played? Oh, am I right in saying that they've played R&L four times (1995, 2001, 2004, 2010, 2012)? They didn't play R&L in 2010, and only played Reading in 2012 (cheeky) They played V98 too. Not sure of any others
solongfromthestars Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 When was Sassafras Roots last played before the Emirates gig (excluding the twice they played Dookie in full)? 1997 right?

jenni Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 When was Sassafras Roots last played before the Emirates gig (excluding the twice they played Dookie in full)? 1997 right? Yes, right. To be more precise, it should be December 2, 1997, at their show in Seattle, WA (source: Live Guide)
Todd Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Yes, right. To be more precise, it should be December 2, 1997, at their show in Seattle, WA (source: Live Guide) Yay! I appreciate people using the live guide!

~ Walking Contradiction Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Does anyone know why they hold up their arms and cross them during X-Kid? What does it mean? I can't find a decent video so here's Tré doing it at 1.58
tubbyfox Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Does anyone remember which show it was when someone requested 86 and Billie couldn't remember how it went? Then Tre played the intro and he still couldn't remember and gave up and played something else. Think it was last year sometime. Saw it on Youtube and now can't find it.
iltrenta Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Is the title of the song "Rusty James" making fun of the way Billie pronounces "Rusty chains" in the song? It could be a word play because it sound like rusty chains, but the title actually fits the theme of that song, Green Day is wondering where all the punk etlist that gave them so much shit in the past are now, they disappeared and Green Day now is the 'last gang in town'. In a similar way Rusty James in the novel/movie Rumble Fish is the member of a gang in his town in an era when all the other gangs don't exist anymore, they belong to the past. And I think they used the words rusty chains as a metaphor of the words used against them in the early years, but now those insults are just pointless, those chains that once hurted them now are just pieces of useless rusted metal.
