LazyBones_xx Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Was there professional cameras at the Emirates Stadium?
lizziebix Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I get that it's a 39 smoothed reference but why have billie and mike put two pictures on there instagram with the caption 39 smoothed?Coincidence that they both decided to take pictures and the time was, or nearly was, 10:39. Probably nothing more than that.

Misterglasshalfempty Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 What's the biggest crowd Green Day has played for? And I mean at a Green Day show, not Woodstock or other festivals.
scatteredminority Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Is the title of the song "Rusty James" making fun of the way Billie pronounces "Rusty chains" in the song? What's the biggest crowd Green Day has played for? And I mean at a Green Day show, not Woodstock or other festivals. The biggest show they've ever done was in 2005, at the Milton Keynes Bowl (UK). I think there were about 130,000 people in the crowd.
Sir Psycho Sexy Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 What festivals will have stream this year? Of course where Green Day will play.

Are you sure about that? That was over a two day period with 65 000 each night. I thought they had played larger crowds on the 21CB tour?

Hermione Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Are you sure about that? That was over a two day period with 65 000 each night. I thought they had played larger crowds on the 21CB tour? That's correct about Milton Keynes being 65,000 a night, and when they played there it was their biggest crowd to date. But I'm pretty sure it was more at Wembley Stadium in 2010, although I've never heard an official figure. The venue held around 80,000 but it wasn't full, I think it was more like 70,000 there which would make it more but I don't know for certain.
carriedaway Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I thought there was something a while back that Green Day wouldn't sell their albums in Walmart anymore? Today I saw Dos there for sale.
Cath Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I thought there was something a while back that Green Day wouldn't sell their albums in Walmart anymore? Today I saw Dos there for sale. i think it's just with 21stBD because they didn't want to change the lyrics but not sure. i've seen Dookie, AI and the trilogy there lately so no problem with them.
green day is Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Well you see, it would be far too much effort for Wal-Mart to actually care about the music they stock, so they just reject a few occasionally (21CBD, In Utero, Marshal Mathers LP) so it seems like they at least try to keep it family friendly. It's genius really.

Hermione Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Thanks, still think it's a bit odd It wasn't really that they didn't want the album to be sold at Walmart, it was just that they refused to make a "clean" version so that Walmart would sell it. They basically just said here's the album, it's up to you if you want to sell it as it is or not but we won't make a clean version for you. There's clean versions of some their other albums out, and some just don't have parental advisory stickers because they're older, so Walmart's always sold their albums. It just happened to be that there's a parental advisory sticker on 21st CB so Walmart wouldn't sell it, but Green Day weren't planning on making a clean version since it's not even that explicit and wouldn't make one just to satisfy one store. It was hyped up to look like more of a "moral stand" than it really was I think.

The past albums dont have a PA tag not cause they are older (the PA tag been around since 1992) it just up to the band and label to include them most labels will just automaticly put them on

What I mean by because they're older is in the 90s CDs with explicit lyrics often didn't have PA stickers, whereas now they always do. I guess back then bands/labels weren't as bothered about including them as they were a new optional thing, whereas now they're pretty much considered essential if there's even a hint of swearing.

Yeah back in the early 90's they were mainly going after rap they were overlooking rock and other genres
green day is Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 They sell In Utero but the back cover is changed and the title rape me was changed to waif me I know. The picture on the back is also no longer a bunch of fetuses and whatever else was there.
WhiteTim Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I know. The picture on the back is also no longer a bunch of fetuses and whatever else was there. The wal mart version also has the Scott Litt mixes of HSB and Pennyroyal Tea which to me sounds better
green day is Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 The wal mart version also has the Scott Litt mixes of HSB and Pennyroyal Tea which to me sounds better I didn't know the Wal-Mart version had those. P.sure everyone thinks they sound better.
GuitarPunk94 Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 What festivals will have stream this year? The Platypus! Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Does anyone know if Green Day are going to do a second tour of the world? It just seemed to me that this tour was too short with Billie's rehabilitation and everything
musso_kn Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Does anyone know if Green Day are going to do a second tour of the world? It just seemed to me that this tour was too short with Billie's rehabilitation and everything No one can answer your question for sure, but it's more than likely they will. You should be patient; it's unlikely tour dates will be announced any time soon.

It just seemed to me that this tour was too short with Billie's rehabilitation and everything Obviously I can confirm nothing, but as one the biggest rock bands in the world, I'm pretty sure they will.
