I recently came across a download of One Step to Freedom. It's basically acoustic instrumental versions of Good Riddance, BOBD and WMUWSE. It says it's by Green Day but I'm not sure if they mean that it's Billie playing the guitar on them or if it's somebody else and they just named GD as the artist since they wrote it. Does anyone know?

I've never seen him with one, but there's a photo of Billie giving him that haircut. I always assumed he just let Billie give him a dodgy haircut for a laugh, but I guess it's possible he was giving him a mohawk and there just aren't any photos of it. The fact that there's several different photos of him with it like that, including at a public appearance there, and none with a mohawk, makes me think it's more likely to be the former though.

The girl is Penelope Houston who wrote it, Billie Joe does backing vocals and the music, it was recorded for some movie/show then scrapped, and Friends picked it up, so it's on one of their seasons' soundtracks. It's in an episode with a party playing at the party.
