IsaGreenDay Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Is this true, i never heard that ? This is not the first visit to the country by at least one of the members of Green Day about six months ago, bassist Mike Dirnt came to know the grave of his grandfather, in American (Yankee stronghold of immigration in São Paulo). I have seen that a while ago... I don't know if it's true. Actually, I don't see why would Mike's grandfather be buried in Brazil.
JIGD13 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Do you know what kind of guitar Billie uses here?, I have never seen it before

Sarcasm Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 How come I can't find that video of Green Day playing Good Riddance or Basket case where he speaks the lyrics and there was a Hawaii theme on the whole bar/place they played it at? I used to find it hilarious, but now I don't know how to find it. "Green Day hula" didn't give me much on youtube
MaraGreenDay Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Help please!! What was the first song named by Tre Cool??? I read somewhere it was Sassafras Roots, is that tue?? I need to know this!!!
Hermione Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Help please!! What was the first song named by Tre Cool??? I read somewhere it was Sassafras Roots, is that tue?? I need to know this!!! He named Private Ale (he confirmed this in a recent Idiot Nation interview). Can't really get any earlier than that so I guess that's the first that we know of.

Don't know where you're getting the Hawaiian vibe Unless you're actually thinking of something else...

"Green Day hula" didn't give me much on youtube The only themed place I can think of in recent times is when they played the Tiki Club, but that was a different show to the Halloween one where the spoken monster mash thing occurred (Tiki was before that was it not?)
MaraGreenDay Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I´m looking for a concert (pre-Dookie days) where Billie has a Cheap Trick t-shirt, anyone?? Nevermind, i found it!!

It says "Epitaph Europe" which was the only company to release it in Europe back then.
Liam Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 anyone have a pictures of Mike Dirn X-Kid's tatoo? Here you go
JellyTime Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 It is indeed the European release. It says "Epitaph Europe" which was the only company to release it in Europe back then. Thank you! However, this mistake in Billie's name makes me wonder. I checked back cover of European release on greendaydiscography.com and his name is spelled properly.
James! Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 If Green Day were to do a second Leg tour in the uk what month are we looking in based on other tours ? Like early 2014 maybe?
stich Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 If Green Day were to do a second Leg tour in the uk what month are we looking in based on other tours ? Like early 2014 maybe? Didn't know but maybe spring/summer 2014 with early 2014 and late 2013 see them in Asia/Australia and then summer/autumn 2014 being in USA and South America. Of course it's pure speculation
ThibautDookie Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Is it possible to buy the exact model and exact setup of Tré's drumkit from the Dookie and Insomiac Tour ? Do you have links ?
American_edot Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 At shows when securty pull you out what happens to you?
Guest Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 At shows when securty pull you out what happens to you? They take you into a backroom and touch your pee pee. Then they give you a fiver and tell you Father Christmas says watch out for the beans, they're overdone.
pasalaska Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 At shows when securty pull you out what happens to you? If you mean pull you out at the front of the pit, they send you along the front of the stage and then up the side of the pit, generally to the back of the GA area. Hope that answers your question.
