Does anyone know where I can find the flyer (scan, picture) for Green Day's show (the first as Green Day) at 924 Gilman St on May 28 1989. It was also the last show of Operation Ivy. Or it's imposible?

Yes and no. He used it up until around the Nimrod era where he started using replicas. By the end he had smashed them all and was back to using the original during the Warning era. Also for the South American leg of the 21st Century Breakdown tour, Blue was being repaired so he used a replica then as well.

To attract mates, and to store milk so that we can drink it. Problem?

The purpose of cows is to serve us? Not originally lol.

Originally cows didn't have saggy udders, they would have hindered them while escaping from predators. It was during the 19th and 20th centuries with the revolution of modern farming and proper breeding policies that large uddered dairy cows came into existence.

Oh wait, this is the GD Q&A thread, not the Agricultural History thread. My bad.

Which version of Dookie is rare, with Elmo or without?

Posted

I think you mean Ernie not Elmo.

The rare version of Dookie has Ernie on the back.

It was only in the States (or North America?) that they had to remove it, it's always been there on copies made in Europe/the rest of the world. So in the US with is rare, but here without is rare. Neither is that rare though since both have always been made in different parts of the world.

The rare version is with Ernie, although they're definitely not too hard to get your hands on. Almost every record store I've been in has a used copy with Ernie on the back.

I've never seen a copy without Ernie on the back. In Europe they all have him.

I've heard that. I can vouch for the fact that copies without Ernie exist as I own both. But, if it's a used copy it almost always seems to have Ernie on the back. I guess the only difference here in the States is that it's more difficult to find one that's new.

Sorry, Ernie not Elmo. Whoops! Oh, just curious. I've got the one with Ernie on the back, now to track down one without. :)

It's just that they never had to legally remove him in Europe/outside the US, so any copies made here have always had him on them. I guess the ones you find with him in the States are often ones that were made outside the country rather than being original US ones from before they removed him.

I guess it's just rare in US because i'm from Canada and I got the one with Erni. Which is cool.
