AngelBlue_ Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Yeah i know, i just want that people know what i was talking about, sorry oh ok then
Hermione Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Hope she's not because she's ugly Maybe Billie isn't a horribly shallow person. I remember reading in a interview that he had sex with a very fat girl (in a car, if I remember right ) when he was young, so maybe that's her! I think the only reason anyone assumed the girl in that photo was his first girlfriend is that (even though he never said the girl he had sex with was his girlfriend and I highly doubt she was the way he described it, and he had his first girlfriend when he was several years younger than he was in that photo anyway). There's no evidence to suggest the girl in that photo was that girl except that she's fat (because there's only one fat person in the world right ) and no evidence that she was Billie's girlfriend whatsoever. It's just a photo of him with a random friend or acquaintance just like there's photos of him with hundreds of other random friends and acquaintances. In my déduction, i would say that this pic is from 1993, i think. Exactly. First girlfriend in 1993? Nope.

This is the most hilarious thing I've hear all that week. And with that in mind, this photo is perfection...oh, my ribs...
Heather. Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Billie looks more unattractive in that photo than the girl does anyway They deserve each other. That story about him having sex with a fat girl seemed pretty exaggerated too though. Like he said she was 500 pounds or something
green day is Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 She´s ugly just cause she´s fat, really??? She´s not and if she was his first girlfriend, good for him!!! Yes, really.
ThibautDookie Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Exactly. First girlfriend in 1993? Nope. I don't think that it was his girlfriend. I have no idea. It looks like a pic from 1993 because Billie started to have dreadlocks in 1993.
Hermione Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Yes, really. Alright, this thread isn't for making pathetic childish comments about some random woman's weight and appearance. Stick to Green Day questions and answers please. I don't think that it was his girlfriend. I have no idea. It looks like a pic from 1993 because Billie started to have dreadlocks in 1993. Yep (I could tell from the dreadlocks too ). I'm saying the fact the picture's from 1993 shows it's not his first girlfriend (and probably not his girlfriend at all, no reason to think so and I'm pretty sure he was with the one called Amanda at that time anyway).
musso_kn Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Honestly, can someone link me to this article where he talks about the girl? I'm just fascinated.
Hermione Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Honestly, can someone link me to this article where he talks about the girl? I'm just fascinated. There's two! I think the funny part was that it was a really small car
Todd Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Honestly, can someone link me to this article where he talks about the girl? I'm just fascinated. I have a picture of it on my phone, no link though

This will be my first concert Ever in Berkeley and I kind of want a photo pass. Who do I have to contact, local newspapers? theater venues? and what happens after I take the pictures? I baught a ticket, can I hang where my friends are at or will they force me in the back of the crowd? Will this distract me in experiencing Green Day? I guess I need someone to weigh the pros and cons in doing this. please help!

JellyTime Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 When Green Day's Drunk Bunny appeared for the first time? I heard it was in Warning era, but do you know exact date of the show?
GuitarPunk94 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 When Green Day's Drunk Bunny appeared for the first time? I heard it was in Warning era, but do you know exact date of the show? wasnt it even during their nimrod tour?
deadair Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 According to Wikipedia (not always the most credible source), Walk Away on iTre! was a re-recorded version of a song off the scrapped Cigarettes And Valentines album. I want to ask, do you guys think this is true or is it wikipedia bullshit? And if it's the former, where was it mentioned that it was originally a C&V song? When Green Day's Drunk Bunny appeared for the first time? I heard it was in Warning era, but do you know exact date of the show? wasnt it even during their nimrod tour? Was it really on the Nimrod and Warning tours? I always assumed they started using The Drunk Bunny on the American Idiot arena shows. I never researched it thoroughly though.

deadair Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 I found somewhere on GDC that it was Warning tour, but I truly have no idea. Maybe, it was on the Warning tour, I honestly don't know. But, I do know that they didn't use it on the 2002 Pop Disaster tour and the short European tour that followed, as I've seen video bootlegs from both.

But, I do know that they didn't use it on the 2002 Pop Disaster tour and the short European tour that followed, as I've seen video bootlegs from both. The bunny isn't usually included in video footage of shows though (whether it's bootlegs or official videos like Bullet In A Bible). Usually the video just starts when the band comes on stage. I don't think I've ever seen a Green Day bootleg with the intro songs or the bunny included either from before or after American Idiot so you can't really go by that. I'm certain it started before American Idiot, I remember reading a magazine interview of the bunny during AI times where he mentioned doing it for years, and I know I've heard it started during either Warning or Nimrod, but unfortunately I can't remember which or where I heard it. It would make sense that it started around that time though since that's when they started being more theatrical and having their horn section dressed as bees and stuff. I'm very curious now if anyone knows exactly when it started! Might not be possible to pinpoint though since there's not usually footage of it.
musso_kn Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 I'm sure some of you are familiar with the website, Nothing Wrong With Me. Anyway, it seems to have disappeared off the face of the internet. Anyone have any idea why?

Yeah, I guess that's true, I didn't think that The Drunk Bunny might not have been filmed on every bootleg, although I have seen at least two bootlegs where the bunny was filmed (MSG 2009 #1 and another one that I can't remember off the top of my head). But to me, that's the closest thing to a mascot Green Day has and hypothetically if I was a bootlegger and somehow got a camcorder into the venue, I would think it would be an important thing to film. It's like their pre-show ritual, or a buildup.
