I've read a couple of times that they almost broke up after Warning. Is there any actual source on that or is it just rumours?

They almost broke up during the Dookie Tour also ;)

I'm at 100 % sure for what i said. I have a little magazine with a Mike Dirnt interview saying this an describing all the eras of Green Day until 2009.

It's a magazine from 2009.

I'm too lazy to google and GDA this, have they played Lazy Bones on any of the new club shows yet? And is it a youtube video? :)

Couple questions;

Mike doesn't sing for any Frustrators songs, does he?

Does Billie Sing for Pinhead Gunpowder? Every song?

And does anyone want to compile a list of Lookouts songs sung by Tré? I'll do it if no one else is excited to.

Tré also sings lead on "The Mushroom is Exploding".

You're from Mexico? Hopefully the set dates for Mexico this time. They might go to Guadalajara, Monterrey, or Mexico City. According to a site I read, though I don't know it it's 100% reliable. I would buy my ticket to go in a heartbeat.

Here's the source: http://gritaradio.com/green-day-regresara-a-mexico/

If they come to Mexico i will able to go to the show in D.F (México City), but no, i don´t trust in that page cause in 2009 there was this page from a news paper and they say that Green Day will be in México in July of that year, wich it never happens, so no, i don´t trust in those things, never again :(

Yeah only two are written by Billie, 27 and New Blood. And a few are written by Jason, but most are Aaron.

Yeah I know a couple, like That Girl's From Outer Space but I just wanna have a complete list.

'Outside' is one that stands out for me, it's on the The Thing That Ate Floyd' compilation. It's... interestingly sung.

I'll probably end up listening to all of them and writing down the ones Tré sings, since no one else seems too enthused.

It's <78 minutes anyway, cause I burned their whole discography onto a CD once a long time ago. Fucking punk bands.

I'm sure there are many long time green day fans on here so my question is does anyone remember the original idiot club? I remember joining it around the dookie or insomniac years and it was $20 to join for life! I swear I'm not crazy even though they stopped sending stuff. Anywho, is there a thread on here that goes into detail on what goodies fan club members got back then? For me all I remember is a wallet size green day idiot club card, nimrod stickers and I'm pretty sure I got a 7" vinyl of Longview on one side and welcome to paradise live on the other side. That ended up being way longer I meant it to be!

I would like to know if Billie Joe has a real and official Youtube account (I'm pretty sure he doesn't, but I'm still asking). I spent some times today on Youtube watching Green Day videos and I came accross a fan made video (She video with GD as LEGO). In the comments section, a «Billie Joe Armstrong» commented a few days ago the video. That person used Billie Joe's personnal photos as avatar and account background. And he seems to have commented on many GD fan made videos and corrected people when they write Billy. Also, he gave links to GD official web site, GD official Youtube account, BJA official twitter, ... And this «Billie Joe Armstrong» account has been created last march 4th. I belive it's a fake, but I would like a confirmation.

I could do that too!

Oops, always forget about that EP due to being too cheap to buy it.

Yeah it's fake. There's many people who go around pretending to be Billie like that. Ask yourself, would a busy 41 year old rockstar be going around the comments on youtube videos correcting people's spelling? And you have your answer

Fo the ones looking for a copy of RS US about Billie, I did buy my copy in ebay for 4€ only. Brand new.

I've read a biography on Green Day and it said that they almost broke up after Dookie and after Warning. I don't remember the reasoning behind the almost breakups. I'm sure someone else can offer greater insight, but (as far as I know) yes, that is true.

Do you have their Lookout! It's the Lookouts demo tape? That has some covers and shit on it and it's really rare

I'd love to hear their version of Like a Rolling Stone compared to Green Day's
