WhiteTim Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 we see them rehearsing on cuatro and not recording... and the acticles say that the band "wanted" a live sound..and not say the them recors the instruments live.. they were just looking for a raw sound.. and a proof that the guitars wasn't recorded live is that are some tracks where you can hear the exact moment where a solo guitar jumps into the music without the other 2guitar lines stop playing Actually you also see them record on Cautro... And I guess Bill Schneider is lying to Guitar World but what would he know he was just with them in studio but I guess he's wrong If ot was multi tracked they wouldnt have needed Jason unless he is indeed an official member after all...
alienlifeform Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Actually you also see them record on Cautro... Im not a child.. and when I first made the question "why people think the trilogy was recorded live" I was looking for a quote or link to explain my doubt .. about Jason.. have you stopped to think that he is now a official meber and that's the reason he's creditted on the new albuns? but glad to see there are people here just trying to be assholes and not help at all
WhiteTim Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 i think you can talk to me not using sarcasm.. Im not a child.. and when I first made the question "why people think the trilogy was recorded live" I was looking for a quote or link to explain my doubt .. but glad to see there are people here just trying to be assholes and not help at all Well the Guitar World article Bill states it was done live guitar wise other articles say the same The few short segments in Cautro shows em playing live Plus Jason being there if it was recorded like the past GD records then Jason didnt need to be there I apologize if I came out like an asshole wasnt my intent
lizziebix Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Actually you also see them record on Cautro... And I guess Bill Schneider is lying to Guitar World but what would he know he was just with them in studio but I guess he's wrong If ot was multi tracked they wouldnt have needed Jason unless he is indeed an official member after all... I thought Bill quit last summer. He's back with them?
WhiteTim Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I thought Bill quit last summer. He's back with them? He's quoted in the GW article and is listed on the album booklet He may had quit after the sessions were over
lizziebix Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 He's quoted in the GW article and is listed on the album bookletHe may had quit after the sessions were overThat would make sense. I think it was after the sessions were over and after one of the shows. At least that's what I remember someone saying. Thanks.

ThibautDookie Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Was just looking through an album of old Operation Ivy pictures and this photo came up, hadn't seen it before and was wondering if there was a story behind it or when/where it's from? Sorry for the late response. This pic is from the Boston show in 1994. Green Day only played 30 min, the crowd was going wild and the police arrested a lot of persons. Hope that i answered your question

pasalaska Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Yeah, I got mine today lol. I'm just trying to figure out if they are limited or not I don't think they are, they were pretty easily available, and there wasn't any sort of 'limited edition' announcement when they were first announced.
