Anyone else yet to listen to new Green Day songs?

Me . My sister and I have decided to wait (had to be a joint decision as it would be a nightmare if one of us had heard it and the other hadn't ). I've heard half the songs from the singles and official videos put out by the band and the Radio One snippets anyway so it's not like I don't already have stuff to listen to and it's a only a few days, I'm happy to wait to get some nice surprises when I play the CD the first time.

I haven't heard Uno. I decided to wait all the way until September 25th, like I'm supposed to. I've never listened to a leaked album before its proper release before, and I'm not going to start now. Album releases are special to me, so I need to use all my willpower to wait one more week, haha! It's hard though, especially with everyone here talking about it. I'm going to have so much catch-up reading to do in the Uno thread once I do finally get to hear it.

So that makes 4 of us.... 5 counting Hermione's sister.

Nobody knew which songs were supposed to be on the album before they announced them, so I just listened to many live versions which adds up to Carpe Diem, Stay the Night, Stray Heart and Amy. Fuck Time obviously was a FHT song.

The reason I have listened to the UNO songs was that I wouldn't hear a part of it in the radio, so I took the safe approach and listened to them when I could really appreciate them and to be sure that it actually was Green Day that I listened to.

I haven't listened to NF because, well I don't want to spoil the opening track of an album (same reason why I didn't listen to 21st CB leak).

I don't think that's bad, 8 songs of 37 (+ the new singles from DOS and TRÉ).

I had to listen to the studio version of Stay the Night, and have also heard everything officially released before the album leak, and what they played live in London and Paris. But that still leaves half of the songs i haven't heard. I can't wait to listen to it all the way through.

I said 'for now' at the beginning as i'm struggling to resist it!
