In the end, I just care about the shows and the music, but Green Day cheapens their music a lot by making their songs into cheezy Broadway plays, dressing Hot Topic, advertising in commercials, vocal coaching on horrible reality shows, etc. It makes me think of that stuff when I hear the songs sometimes.

They are pretty good about playing the right deep cuts from albums, but they seriously neglect some great tunes on Dookie, Insomniac, and Nimrod: Having a Blast, Emenius Sleepus, No Pride, Westbound Sign, Worry Rock, etc.

They could take out all the Hey-OHHHHHHHHHs and put in 15 more songs.

I never got to see Before The Lobotomy live which i was quite gutted about. From 21CB id take dropping KYE for Horseshoes and Handgrenades anyday.

I dont remember the specifics but he had a hard time recording that song and was never really into it in the first place

but butch vig pressured him to record that song anyways i think they only played RHS live once.
