Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I've listened to Uno all day and loved it but this article has got me excited for the other albums and the DVD now! I kinda wanted to forget about them and let Uno sink in but when you know there's Fuck Time, Wild One, 99 Revolutions and Otis Redding inspired shit still to come it's difficult not to look ahead.
Heather. Posted September 19, 2012 Author Posted September 19, 2012 Could anyone possibly post more readable scans? Thanks
GDLoT Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Yes, I'm with Heather. Some readable scans would be awesome please? My eyes can't read the other photos unfortunately.
Anja Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 A friend got me a copy I can't wait to get it and hold it in my hands!
WhiteTim Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Yes, I'm with Heather. Some readable scans would be awesome please? My eyes can't read the other photos unfortunately. Yeah sorry bout that havent owned a scanner ever since i got a digital camera
Karol Oliveira Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 It's on GDA, guys! The scans are not perfect, but they're readable. http://www.greendayauthority.com/articles/172/1/
bat-chen Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Thanks so much for the scans. The pics are amazing
Stuart&TheAve Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 "Amanda was the basis for the character 'Whatsername' in 21st Century Breakdown" ...what >.<
gerardsangel4977 Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 That article was great!! Aside from the couple obvious factual errors, of course.....I've always loved reading their pieces. Even before I started playing, I always appreciated getting to know more about the instrumental side of the album.
GuitarPunk94 Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 facts i like most from the article... -billie mainly playing '1039/kerplunk-like' solo's again -i think its awesome that they want us to get a 'live feeling' with this record..i cant wait to listen how it will be like to listen to this since the trilogy is supposed to sound like if GD where jamming together in one room, no separat studio-room recordings (and i wonder how it will feel to listen to the guitars ("billies guitar on the left speaker, jasons on the right")
NicholasLouisBlack22 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 What I really like about the magazine is that the article goes very in depth. The interview is several pages long and has amazing photos. It's definitely worth the 8 dollars, even if the only article you want to read is the Green Day one.
