LisaBJA Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Probably I will buy a ticket from a festival, when they won't announce more dates My question to you is: How long should I wait to buy one? Because I don't want to buy one, when they afterwards announce "normal" concerts

Because I don't want to buy one, when they afterwards announce "normal" concerts Yeah, I'm thinking about going to the festival in France if no more UK dates come up. I'm giving it until just after X-Kid is released and if nothing else has happened by then, I'm giving up hope of a UK tour in the summer.
GuitarPunk94 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 well..the Rock Am Ring festival in germany is sold out..dont know about other festivals but i would buy a ticket very soon
Nemo. Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 well..the Rock Am Ring festival in germany is sold out..dont know about other festivals but i would buy a ticket very soon whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? that destroyed my plans. fuck.
Yaz. Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Wow RaR is sold out, and they're still not gonna do day tickets? Damn. I'm not gonna hold out for more dates for quite some time now. I'm sure they'll do full tours at some point . For summer i'm going to Emirates, Vienna and Bilbao. I intend to get tickets for Rome/Bologna, Oslo and Copenhagen

Yeah, so I will wait until the release of X-Kid (I love this song ) Which festival have you thought of going to? Maybe I will go to the Festival in France (Mainsquare Festival), because 30STM will also play at the same day, which would be awesome Or in Belguim But I hope they will announce "normal" gigs

No way a UK tour in the summer (surely no room in the schedule and we would have heard about it by now) .... but the autumn is still possible, and I think Reading/Leeds do not announce their final two headliners until the tickets go on sale in March. R/L kicking off a UK tour would be the perfect scenario. Reading gets good TV coverage as well. Edit: Reading announce next headliner Monday 4th Feb.

Hmm according to some rumours, the other two headliners are Biffy Clyro and System of a down or Mumfords and sons...I think it's too early for a UK tour in September, they still have to tour half of the States. October/November seems possible to me.
Yaz. Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 So I just looked at the tour schedule on last.fm, and it shows that Green Day are gonna be playing in Estonia on 25th June? There's an event page on facebook for it, looks legit? https://www.facebook.com/events/417576491663468/?ref=3

JadedHaushinka Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 A new date was announced today, which is 25/06/2013 in Tallinn, Estonia. http://www.greenday-tallinn.com/ http://www.facebook.com/events/417576491663468/?fref=ts Wohoo! Looking forward to it. It'll be their first time in here. Super stoked!
Chris_Kr93s Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 99 Revolutions Tour? xD I HOPE for some new german dates sooo much!
Nemo. Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 wow. a new tour date. this makes me hoooooooooooooope...
Hermione Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 There's now a thread for the Tallinn show in the tour forum Fabulous news! It's great how they're playing countries they've never played before. And a new date being announced makes me hopeful too
Anja Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Just another festival, isn't it? Or does the venue just happen to be called "Festival Ground"? Great to see though that they are touring countries they haven't been to before or havent been to in a very long time!
Beathe. Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 New tour date! It's great that they're playing in several countries for the first time on this tour.
Requila Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Surprised that they're coming to another new country they've never been before! Great for the fans there I still don't like the way the announce all the dates. It's been 7 months since they started and we're still getting new dates - when is the tour finally going to be complete ? Just another festival, isn't it? Or does the venue just happen to be called "Festival Ground"? Great to see though that they are touring countries they haven't been to before or havent been to in a very long time! Seems that it's just a Green Day show. Tickets are priced 45 EUR and it will be their only show in the Baltic states.
Tubbie Head Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I love to hear that they're playing in places they've never been before. Festivals or not!

It was said that there will be 1-2 supporting acts
