But there's still chance for Lucca, right? I was really looking forward to it!

I'm noticing these two festivals (Lucca and Rock in Rome) seem to be concerts of one band each day in days apart, am I right? For the Lucca one, 30STM are playing on July 13th and Mark Knopfler on July 19... And the same seems to happen in Rock in Rome (?)

And why aren't Nick Cave and Neil Young announced in that Lucca website?

Changing the topic, I'm seeing that the Optimus Alive festival (Lisbon) is on July 12, 13 and 14. The only band confirmed for the 12th is Two Door Cinema Club, who aren't huge, so I think it's possible that Green Day play there. It would be the day before Bilbao.

Yeah there's still a chance they will play! Yeah these two festivals are one-day festival, but the lines up are not "linked"...30stm are playing in Padua as well, I don't know about Knopfler...the point is that bands don't usually play just one concert in Italy if it's in Lucca, because it's quite hard to reach and it's small (some say 10,000 capacity - it's in the city square, after all) and it would be stupid to let Green Day play only there. I don't know about Rock in Rome...I have a feeling they will play in Lucca and Milan (or Udine)

and those artist are not on the festival website because the promoter hasn't officially announced them yet!

Yes the location in Lucca is quite small..I'm sure they'll do at least 2 shows here in italy...anyway,today Rock in Rome will announce a "big piece of the history of rock"....We will see. and Hope.

what about I-Day Festival?

This september when it's announced that the concert's cancelled they said they'll come back next year (2013);

I wonder if they're going to reschedule the show or not?

Anyway if it's there a concert in Italy I'll bee there.

I don't think so, because I-day festival is in September... and they will be in Europe in June-July.....

If they play a "standard" festival like Heineken or I-day, this will be their only concert. It wouldn't really make sense if Lucca were their only Italian date so I'm hoping for a couple of shows. I can't see them playing at Heineken after what happened 2 years ago.

they said that they would return to Bologna, so not necessarily at the I-day festival... I really hope in a concert of their own in Bologna

Sorry guys, I'm STILL confused :S
They are sure in France on July 5th and 10th.
On GD.com it also says 7th. But they won't be at the MainSquare festival another time just two days later, they accidentally added it, right? :ninja:

Please come to Paris! I 'm working all summer long in the Paris area and cannot travel to Nîmes or Arras as I only have my weekends free!!!!! Oh I'm so hoping for Rock en Seine again or even better Parc des Princes or even Bercy, I don't care where as long as it's close to me!!!
