But I don't think they announce tour dates. That's not any HUUUGE. It pretty much is the hugest thing a band can announce besides their albums! And even if they did tour there in mid 2013, they'd need to announce the shows soon-ish. Tickets for big arena shows always go on sale months in advance. If they're touring early to mid next year, now would be the time to announce it.

Maybe they're gonna do something special this time (Meet&Greets for example), otherwise the word "huge" might just be a marketing trick Totally I agree with that. But even if it's "only" the North America tour dates, I'm super excited to get to know more.

Might be just me but repeating a tour from the early 2000s does NOT seem very career changing or important So we should really shut the hell up about this, Green Day have basically 9 albums worth of material to showcase, along with a full 3 new albums, on their upcoming tour...this is definately NOT the time for them to share a tour (+ hence a much shorter set) with anyone. so yay

Exactly, plus Blink have already toured for the promotion of their last album...I don't know, I hope they announce a world tour but it would be cool if they did their own "festival" like Slipknot did, with bands they like (The living end etc). Just a concert or two.

So first I hope that they come to Phoenix and second, that tickets dont sell out so fast. I really want to go to my first Green Day show. I am very confused and scared right now... If you end up not getting tix, I always get extra and bring some friends along. I would consider you as long as you take Angels and Airwaves and Blink off of your favorite bands list on your profile. HAHA!
