I'm loving the studio version! I can't stop replaying it! The guitar solo is great! And Billie (I think it's Billie) screaming Shut the Fuck Up in the background is hilarious!

Ho ho ho ho i'm beginning to get excited! Now this sounds like it coulda come off Nimrod! Even Billie sounds a bit like his old self, like he got his old voice back! And whether it's like old GD or not, who cares, cuz there ain't no denying, this song RAWKS. Slowly but surely, my doubts on the trilogy are being banished. Gotta say, after hearing Oh Love and Kill The DJ, i was worried, but Let Yourself Go, Carpe Diem and Stay the Night are all solid.

They only issue I see with this is if Billie's voice really is bad. He can't do the screaming and couldn't provide enough vocal power to provide justice to the song.

Yeah I like it, it's catchy and very GD but what's with the constant swearing? It's like kill the DJ. I like swearing, but I always feel it's more powerful if only used a few times in a song eg American idiot. This just sounds kinda lame with all the f-bombs, it's like he couldn't think of anything else to write.

The "Fucking, fucking with my head now" part, I'm sorry, but these aren't great lyrics. At least when he swore all the way through platypus it was imaginative because he got as many different words in as possible. I know the point of the song is that he doesn't give a fuck, but I still think the constant repetition of the word sounds stupid, and he would get his point across better if he only said it a couple of times.

It'd be easy to censor too.. The bridge could be "always mess-messin' with my head now" and he could keep the "I don't give a damn anyway" line throughout the song. Obviously not as good as the original, but it would work for TV and radio.
