If I was in all those people's place, I'd feel sad 'cause the concert isn't happening, but I'm worst because it was cancelled for this motive, that Billie is sick. It could be him, or Mike or Tré, and we know they don't like to do this. But being able to keep playing all they can is the reason why if there's something wrong, they have to slow down to avoid a bigger problem.

Alan86 Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 I think in Australia he had food poisoning but they were able to reschedule the concert for the next night instead. This was a festival though so they couldn't possibly reschedule this show.

Even if he discharged himself from the hospital the night before I'm sure the last thing that would be healthy for him would be to go right back out on stage. Plus, he's probably on painkillers or antibiotics and stuff.

I know he wanted to play and i can just imagine how shitty every Italian green day fan must of felt. I would of been pissed off as well. Not at Billie, but at the circumstances I was in. It would be nice if they played for free there or refunded all the fans. But he stayed there over night? And he was rushed to the hospital? This sounds more than a stomach ache to me...

Because I subscribed to her tweets as texts (when she was doing the Boo giveaway) and you get texts sent to your phone regardless of if they're deleted or not and I never got anything. Also no point in speculating in what was wrong with him. Clearly he felt poorly enough to go to hospital in an ambulance, saying 'he had a belly ache' is bit unfair.

I doubt they could swing it even if they were healthy. If they can they will. But they are playing the VMAs on thur, rehearsals on Wed, they need a day to travel. So it is what it is. This is the kinda shit that bugs me...and im not blaming you for posting it/believing it but where exactly did this suposed tweet come from? I have heared about it here and on instagram but everyone says "someone said Adrienne tweeted it". I checked her twitter and there is no such tweet. The fuck?! Saying its just a stomach ache would make pissed off Italian fans very very pissed off. Tre and Mike said "RUSHED to hospital" so while it may just be apendix or something in the end (not something serious) it really doesnt sound like a stomach ache and speculation isnt getting anyone anywhere. I am really sorry for the fans but BJ must be really hurting or there would be no cancellation or hospitalisation.

I was just thinking today, how I am planning to fly to the UK next summer to see them, and I was imagining how devastated I'd be after saving over a year for the flight etc, and getting there, and having something like this happen. It's totally unpredictable, and I cannot imagine how upset fans must have been. Am very glad he's out of the hospital, just want him to be able to carry on performing soon I'm sure he wanted to get out of the hospital ASAP... it's a hospital after all. No one wants to stay one second longer than they have to.

Yeah I got a bit confused by that. I totally understand why some fans are pissed off, it's a shitty situation. But Billie doesn't seem like the sort of person who would go to hospital just for feeling a bit ill, it had to be more than that, and just because he's out of hospital now doesn't mean he's well enough to do a show, he discharged himself against the doctors advice.

You have a right to be disappointed and maybe upset over not seeing them but being pissed? Grow up. The man was obviously ill enough to spend a night in hospital, what did you want him to do? Do the show in bad health just please you guys? I get you're disappointed but he's a man not a fucking machine. Also, that video is disgusting. Poor guy, 'fans' being angry that he's ill and then having that shit as he tries to leave hospital.

Its ok...its not your fault everyone is going a bit nuts over all this. Honestly people should give the guys a break until Billie is feeling better. You could see the anxiety on Tre and Mike's faces in that video today. As their fans we should just wish him a speedy recovery and ignore the hype. They will tell us everything when they are ready...look how close they have kept us all on this tour with instagram. Now lets respect their privacy when they need it.
