That's one part that I have no difficulty saying doesn't bother me XD. It's more a 'vibe' for me than the actual literal lyric XD.

That said, I could see them doing a lot of 'unholy' things in a New York City park.

I dont get the whole motorcyle stuff but it was ok i just envisioned a different video visually it was good

Sam Bayer is screwing the guys with these crappy videos.

Well, I like it more than oh love, but it is still not one of my favs :(

I want videos like nice guys finish last or minority :(

I remember Billie said that Jason White would be a DJ or something. Does anyone remember that?

Well, this video is so "meh" the beginning with the motorcycles was way too long. One of the parts that I enjoyed was when the band was playing and the facial expressions the guys had. In my opinion this video is better than Oh Love by far, and what I think it makes it better is the song, Kill The Dj is faster and maybe that's why this video doesn't seem too boring and slow but still not impressed.

Love the part where they walk through the club lookin like a boss

It's gone :(

I found another one =]

Overall, I think it could have been better but I still enjoyed it. Kill the DJ is my favorite song that has been released off the trilogy albums as of now; so I might be a bit biased.

That being said, the video came up short, much like "Oh Love". It's like they have all these ideas for a video and just mash them together without really working everything out. Although they certainly looked bad ass walking through the club, I'll give them that.

they need to get Mark Kohr back making videos for them

It's like Sam barely acknowledged Jason's presence in these two new videos...

sorry i can't read all posts..someone can tell me why was relaseat so early than they said?

Cool, awesome vid, I love it :D

It's definitely better than the video for Oh Love.. but I still really like this one. I immediately loved the trailer we saw and the video didn't change much. Can't tell you guys why exactly - but I think it's awesome ;)

I had to watch the video 3 times to spot Jason at least once. It's weird that he somehow is pushed to the background in this video. I can understand they did not let him ride a bike, but he's still there performing with the band, yet the chipmunk gets more screen time for some reason. (no offense to the chipmunk)

Other than that, it's not a bad video. But it still has quite some missed opportunities. Maybe they were rushing too much with filming both videos so they were not able to perfect them that well. But still...

Your comments are offensive man...There are differences between a negative comment and an offensive...And I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Please, please please, be offended and shut up about it. He's just joining the discussion, we need people like WWTS to keep the discussion interesting, but with people like your derailing threads immediately after he made a comment we still don't get the interesting discussions that could come from it.

I really like this video! Is so much better than Oh Love in my opinion. I very like guys' faces, when they come to the disco. They are so bored and disgusted. I think they have vision about playing on stage and killing DJ by crowd. And I love kissing girls on words "Sodom and Gommorah" :eyebrows:

Nice video! :)

I think the video fits the song. Billie said in some interviews that the song is about "static and noise", media controlling people's minds (from what I remember).

"Onward Christian soldiers filled with jivin' mind control"

For me, in the first part of the video, the band is free, free of the mind-control of the media. Riding motorcycles represents freedom (it was used in several movies before). And they're having fun!

Also, they're riding in the desert... no one else is there, the people who are free of mind-control are rare.

But then, they're caught by the media somehow and they ended up in that place where media can control - the dancefloor. It is crowded and apparently people are having fun there, because media says you're supposed to have fun on dancefloors. And the dancefloor could also represent a lot of pop and dance music that is on mainstream today.

But the band knows better. They're unimpressed. It is like the media can't control them and make them have fun with all that's being thrown in their direction.

It seems to me that even when they're playing, they aren't having fun. Billie seems to be mad while he sings, warning everybody.

This is my first impression. My interpretation might be wrong, though.

Sorry if I didn't express myself well

Brilliant interpretation! I love the way you put it.

Oh come on, they're promoting singles not sprucing up the Sistine Chapel. Music videos as an artform have been worthless since the rap scene arrived.

Lol since the late 70s then? There's been rap videos as long as there's been music videos.

I loved this video. It wasn't what I expected, but I am still very impressed. I think that some of it gets sort of... "cut out" or "lost in translation", so to speak. There is a lot relating to the message of the song, but it isn't quite what you're thinking it's gonna be.

I don't think they look bored; I think it's more than that. It's like disgust. Bombarded with madness (and blood and violence) and lights, just having to separate themselves from the whole mess. And no... I don't think it's about trying to look like badasses. They used the bikes to show freedom from all of the mind-vomit happening; they're their own bikes, they got to play around, bend the rules (apparently) and the like.

I agree. But I still think they look like badasses too (they just can't help it) :D

Not let him? He probably didn't want to. Seeing as he's never chosen to put himself in the spotlight much I don't think it's surprising to see him take a smaller role in a video than the rest of the band. No way of knowing how much of that is him or how much is the director of course, but I don't think we can assume he'd wanna do more when we know he usually prefers to be in the background.

Like the video, but it just doesn't really fit the music to me. I don't know it's like it doesn't go well with the rythm of the music or something, sorry I can't explain it better.

how does this not fit the music? I'm curious as to what people expected to a song whos chorus goes "someone kill the dj, kill the fucking dj" over and over again.

The only "interpretation" I've made is that they're supposed to be vultures in the desert, but still. It's not a song with a much deeper meaning. Would something like longview be better? a video that shows a man get so bored he kills a sofa?

I think the video is good, it's a good fit for the song. The song itself could be my favorite on the album because it's so different.

No, it's not how it looks. It's like it the video was too chill for the song, or something. Like the chorus starts but in the video nothing happens, they continue riding bikes or walking calmly on the party.

I really hope they use a different director next time obviously samuel bayer has seen his best days.

MEH I just want a HIGH quality version I'm not used to low-quality shit anymore
