Did you actually READ the comment before saying that I was implying something that doesn't even make sense in context to my comment. I don't care if you think the video is a big piece of shit or a masterpiece (which is pushing it to be honest). Ahhh, I think I have a tumor!

Just... ironically. Sort of. Better than Oh Love anyway. Wasn't Jason White supposed to be the DJ though? I wanted to see him! You are not alone. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesnt like the video for some reason

You act like I respond to every comment saying this video is good and say "No, you're wrong. This video sucks, you have no idea what you're talking about." I don't. I never said anyone's opinion is wrong. I haven't attacked anyone because of their opinion. Jesus, every time I try to say something someone who doesn't agree with what I said always has to say something about what I said, and say I implied or said something that I clearly didn't. Wow, I made that sound complicated. I saw his comments and I have different opinion about WrongWayToSalvation...His comments seemed humiliating and I told him... I don't humiliate anyone. They humiliate themselves because they jump to conclusions without thinking. Just look at the number of times people have said that a comment I made meant something that makes no sense just to make me look bad and seen like a hypocrite, then I explain to them that what they said about my comment makes no sense, then they just go "Oh, well..."

It would've been lot better if they hadn't dragged "riding the motorcycle" part. I thought they played small clips of it through out the video but dragging it made it a little boring. And, on the other side, I don't know, the guys looked really bored. At one point, Billie looked like he was bored to death or maybe, they were trying to tell us that walking midst of so many people and how the Dj controls them and stuff. The Dj could represent anything! government, media and ya know.The guys are tired and want to get rid of the Dj, hence their tired and bored expressions. And, I expected the guys to shoot the Dj but it would make it look more Danger Days-ish like someone said, more like a mixture of Na Na Na and SING. I liked the video, but I'm not that impressed. The guys look sexy though, I can't stop drooling over how amazing they look. My interpretation is kind of boring, but bleh. I'm in two minds. I'm not really sure if I like the video, but I'm not that blown away as I was by the teaser. AND YES, MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN OH LOVE's video.

If you get offended because I have a different opinion than you then that's your own fault for not being able to deal with conflicting opinions. If anything you're the one who's insulted and offended me by calling me immature saying everything I say is just "blah, blah, blah" (meaning that what I say doesn't mean anything, implying that your opinion is superior to mine) and calling me a 12 and 7 year old. spark in the night Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Finally saw this video Okay my thoughts: 1. Better than Oh Love 2. Lacked in emotion, and overall umph It seemed sleepy. The motorcycle part in the beginning felt too slow for the music. Instead of having the closeups of Billie's face looking bored and tired, he should have looked pissed and blood-thirsty. Just felt too sleepy and lazy for me. And there was such a disconnection between sleepy Green Day around the dancing people, and crazy eyes Billie on the stage. Lastly, DID YOU SEE THE GUITAR B WAS PLAYING. DID YOU SEE IT!!! Still love the song, but the video once again was disappoint

Just awfully. It's completely lopsided -- no image sticks. The motorcycle part goes on for a good minute to 90 seconds and then the transition to the club scenes is just jarring. And then there's painfully too little footage of the zombie-like hedonism in the club towards the end, so even that idea doesn't hit like it should. The video leaves you feeling more disoriented than wowed. Is it just me or does the club scenes in particular look really...cheap? It appears as if the budget for this video wasn't as solid as Oh Love's. In short, Bayer sucks. Huge disappointment, though a different kind of disappoint after the debacle that was Oh Love.

Agreed on basically all points. I have already expressed that I do like the video, but mainly, that's because I appreciate what the intentions were and figure that in, and I also think it's visually very good and fun. 1. The motorcycle part was too long and the transition was... well, there wasn't really a transition. 2. Too much focus on the girls. The point was made, and then... sort of dragged away. Am I the only one who thinks that Sam Bayer's need to include 'sexy' models actually hit it right on the head in the 'Holiday' video... and wish that he could take a page from that video's book and focus more on the band... And come to think of it, the part in 'Holiday' where Billie Joe has his microphone and is basically spitting with anger... surrounded by half-naked models... is kind of along the lines of the 'idea' of this video (as far as I can tell). 3. Great parts about this video - but it could have been done better (as you said, it's all about the editing). 4. I think the reason they continue to collaborate with Bayer is because he is provocative. Which is in line, in many ways, (apparentl), with their own intentions. Thought provoking and all that. But he takes it too far, without actually providing much "food for thought". And so I hope they walk away from him, too :/.

It's more a 'vibe' for me than the actual literal lyric XD. That said, I could see them doing a lot of 'unholy' things in a New York City park.

And it really isn't terribly entertaining or anything. It's watchable though, and at the very least it's better than Oh Love. This fucking song though. Good lord, is it catchy. I hated it at first. Like DESPISED it. But now...I can't stop.
