I already thought Billie's faces in the teaser were quite funny. This looks promising.

And when I watched the teaser my first thought was if now they'll try to pull a La-Vida-Boheme in their live shows :

The video left me with a meh-feeling, I've grown to love the song, love its walking beat, but now it had that slow dragging feel again.

I'll blame my bad headphones and the youtube compression for failing to deliver the necessary punch for now, it's too bad that the song needs specific circumstances to sound good to me though, many people have shitty headphones that will make this sound more dull than it should. Previous Green Day singles would've solved that with their higher BPM (I guess).

edit: Oh and… the lack of F-bomb and the repetitive chorus doesn't help either.

OKay, it's like a happier version of BOBD (with the guys on the bike in the dessert sort of scenery, and black and whit - I know BOBD wasn't black and white, but it wasn't a very colourfull video either), and finally the walking into the club with those priceless faces. And then it goes into a creepy version of Holiday, with characters dressed in a Lady Gaga-ish style and then the creepy painting

How does it not fit with the song? I think when there's lyrics about club, dancefloor and DJ, the club scenes with discoball over the band really fits it. Motorcycle scene doesn't fit, that's true, but it's just short scene in the beginning.

I think it fits alright. They walk into a club with un-amused faces because they wanna shoot the DJ, people in the club are dressed in a type of clothes that you wouldn't necessarily expect to see at a place where a more rock-ish type of music was being played, and then the blood-like painting on some of the people at the club, which goes well with that line about "blood left on the dance floor..." (at least I think that's what it says).

THe bikes are sort of unrelated, that's true, but I just take it as them getting to the club.

I was hugely disappointed on the song, but it's starting to grow on me a bit since I saw the video of them playing it live. Maybe it'll grow on you with time as well.
