Ritz Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 I just listened to this on soundcloud. Wow. The guys are having so much fun with these three records, it's wonderful! Loved all the previews, not a big fan of nightlife, though I could get used to it I think. Wild one is still one of my favorite songs ajd I was really happy when they played the small preview. I cant wait for fuck time either. This interview made me rrally happy, I cant stop smiling And apparently Billie Joe cant keep a secret wrong thread but yeah the interview was too good Idiot Club Post The Video ??They uploaded it on Idiot Club ! Well the quality looks shitty. Hopefully we'll get a better quality from someone here.
gdpony Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 wrong thread but yeah the interview was too good ?? oh shit. I just noticed haha sorry

Ritz Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 The video is up on Idiot Club. Here's a screenshot: Ah its shot in the Newport Beach where they were doing press a while ago.
La's Letterbomb Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Well here's the video I put up it's not great quality but it's okay, for people that aren't on Idiot Club that might want to see it and this video is more in sync then the one the IC put up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49J_9qlBxps&feature=youtu.be Mean BBC presenter making fun of Tre!
pieterv Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Quote from Tre talking about the making of documentary: "We get a lot of people asking what making a record is like. It's like asking what a sausage tastes like. You can try and describe it, or you can just give them the sausage." The presenters thought that was funny Followed by "The Green Day sausage factory has been churning them out." just perfect I heard the UK calls them bangers. Who would like a banger in the mouth?
That Dude Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 That video says there will be 38 songs on the trilogy! Was this a mistake? First I heard 36, then Billie Joe said "around the world in 37 songs with Green Day" and now this video says 38. Hopefully the number will just keep growing.
The Disappearing Boy Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I wonder if they will make an appearance on Jonathan Ross on Saturday, I believe it is recorded on Thursday or Friday. I mean, they are in London.
The Disappearing Boy Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 well according to wikipedia they're not on in the next couple of weeks, but they could be in the summer i guess?
basketcase85 Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I wonder if they will make an appearance on Jonathan Ross on Saturday, I believe it is recorded on Thursday or Friday. I mean, they are in London. That's what I was wondering, be cool if they did
Ritz Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Loved the interview. Now even more excited for the Documentary. And what was that about sausages
Smoothed Out Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Good to see Tree Man making an appearance And Billie can imagine playing the songs in front of a READING type of crowd. Good to know.
Annie, get your gun Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Cool interview! They showed very small clips from the documentary we haven't seen!! It will be awesome. Though the man talking said "38 songs"... wasn't 37?
GuitarPunk94 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Cool interview! They showed very small clips from the documentary we haven't seen!! It will be awesome. Though the man talking said "38 songs"... wasn't 37? i think they also mentioned that GDs first new single is 'Oh Yeah'
Annie, get your gun Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 i think they also mentioned that GDs first new single is 'Oh Yeah' In which part? ...I heard "Oh Love"
GuitarPunk94 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 In which part? ...I heard "Oh Love" right..it was a different interview..i get crazy with all these new interviews and stuff
Heather. Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I enjoyed this. The sausage analogy was epic I enjoyed how uncomfortable and confused the interviewer was while that was happening. They were all taking the analogy so seriously, which I guess it was because it didn't end up being a sexual reference, amazingly enough.
