But that doesn't mean your opinion is fact. Longevity I'll give you that one fact, but a lot of people may not like their songs, and if they don't like their songs they might not get into their performance. And Green Day is far from being the best lyricists on Radio. Now THAT'S an ignorant statement. They write decent lyrics. Some of their songs don't even fit into that standard. That's such a fanboy thing to say.

And what are the few other categories? Looks? That's opinionated. Critical reception? They've received pretty good critical reception, nothing mind blowing like artists such as Outkast, The Black Keys, and Kayne West. Respect? Green Day is one of the hated bands in the world. Go to almost any comment section on the Internet that's NOT a Green Day fan site and about 95% of the posts will be hate filled, with maybe just a few defending the band. Dude has a point right here.

Well some people may feel like that why is this bad?Everyone can hear and judge the music and some people like all the songs don't feel smarter than them.

It's great to judge a song you don't like(although all YOU do is bitch about everything) but don't act like a smart-ass.

I don't bitch about everything. I've said this a million times. I tip the scales and say the things no one else will say.

If you don't like it then don't read my posts. It's a free speaking forum. At least what I say is has heft to it.

I'm not bluntly saying a song sucks. I give legitimate criticisms. Because I can, and if I can then I will.

I want to be the minority! Not a Mexican, but the other kind.

Nice generalization there. So, out of the hundreds of artists/bands that get played on the radio, Green Day is easily ranked #1? *sigh* Ignorant people...

Ignorance? Personal preference more like.

This forum doesn't really like negative feedback.

Sounds just like a alternate version from the idea of Kill the DJ. I have a feeling I'm not gonna enjoy this as much as I had hoped. :(

Alright, I'm gonna write a song right now. It's called Frankelberry.

Oh Josie, why are you such a bitch?

Why can't you make a brew like this?

Considering you're an ugly ass witch

That has stupid piercings on each nip

Oh, I love me some Frankelberry

Oh, I love me some Frankelberry

Oh, I love me some Frankelberry

Oh, I love me some Frankelberry

Oh Josie, your sister is cuter

Her best friend isn't a cucumber

That doesn't rhyme, but I don't give a shit

Pass me that crack pipe, I need one more hit

Thank you, thank you.

I'll be here all week, because I don't have an outside life!

Better than Oh Love, Kill the Dj, Stray Heart and Carpe Diem, that's for sure. You should just add a ripetitive three-power-chords guitar rhythm and you could record a successful single. You could even get your own Angry Birds game published!

I have to say I'm loving every single post you're making in this thread, really.

Anyways I'd really appreciate it if just for once Green Day (and not only them) searched their soul and said: "ok, we wrote that song, but do we really think it is that good?" I'm sure there's more than one track which they're not convinced by.

Ok, back on topic (I don't know if what I said before was off topic, but anyway): can someone write the complete lyrics for this part of the song? I understood most of them, but I'm not a native speaker, so...

And Billboard said this song was a highlight...

I'm not saying you have to like everything they do and I actually like that some people have different opinions...

Just don't be so sure everything you say is totally right...I didn't judge what you said I didn't like the way you said it.

Well, I'm not saying a song sucks, because you may not think it does.

What I do say is reasonable though, and makes sense in context to what was being discussed.

This forum doesn't really like negative feedback.

These negative feedbacks are opinions, and everyone should be able to express his/hers/whatever. Everyone's different, we can't all like every single Green Day song just because Green Day wrote it even if we are their fans.

Yeah but saying stuff like "If it weren't for people like us, then everyone else would just gobble everything up" sound like it...It's ok though :) I'll stop spaming...

And off course everyone must accept others opinions. It's ok to talk about them though...

Fell For You isn't from the Tiki Bar numb nuts.

And so what? You still get the gist and feeling of the song.

You'll be able to recognize it on the album.

I said 3-4 B-sides on EACH single.

That's around 15-20 B-sides/outtakes all together.

And we should be thankful? Thankful that they could possibly be ripping us off by having us buy 3 albums filled with a lot of forgettable tracks rather than one album filled with amazing tracks? I don't have an iPod, so I'll have to buy each album.

You don't have to be thankful. Those who will enjoy the music on the new albums will be thankful. You can be unthankful, if that's how you'll feel after listening to all 3 albums. If that's how you think you can make a difference and if it satisfies yourself, then you shouldn't change your mind.

I don't see why you see this as a big ripp off though. No one is forcing you to purchase any of the new albums. And considering your dissatisfaction I would suggest you download the album (I assume you have a computer) and just select the tracks that make you turn into Aretha Franklin or whatever and have a blast.

I think !UNO! is going to be their worst received album critically yet, unless you count Shenanigans and 1039.

I predict the first review to come out will be from Rolling Stone magazine and it'll be a 3.5/5, compared to 21st CB's 4.5/5.

Metacritic score might be between a 64-68. if you haven't been to Metacritic here's Green Day's page:

http://www.metacritic.com/person/green-day

Overall average is a 69/100 or a 6.9/10.

Highest album is American idiot with a 79/100 or 7.9/10.

Now just to show that Green Day is far from being the best received mainstream artist, here's Kayne West's page:

http://www.metacritic.com/person/kanye-west

Overall average is an 80 or an 8/10.

Highest ranking album is My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy with a 94 or 9.4/10.

I'm on my dad's iPad, which he usually has with him but he's on his vacation from work so he's left it here with me.

Of course, that might be very possible. Rolling Stone gave American Idiot only 3 stars and I think even Dookie did not get higher than 3

The ranking doesn't mean anything. It just depends on our own personal opinion if we find an album great or not or if it will have an impact on us.

Dookie got a 5/5 from RS. And I take critical reception as a way to set my expectations. If it's not getting good reception then yeah I'll be disappointed, because that is a reflection of the album's quality. I'd trust a critic's review over anyone else's opinion on here that's for sure. Because critics will likely be a lot less biased and judge the album as it should be.

#1 Rolling Stone has Uno! as the #1 album for this fall, and they've been on their dick recently so I'm expecting a good review. 4/5

#2 Don't judge to quickly, but yes, Uno! is on track for being the weakest so far, but we have a lot of tracks to hear.

#3 KANYE, not Kayne.

#4 Ye da gawd. MBDTF is a masterpiece.
