Alright, this song is pretty addicting. This album is gonna be on constant rotation... till Dos and Tre interrupt and join in.

This song is catchy, but why do they repeat choruses over and over again:

"99 Revolutions tonight, 99 Revolutions tonight"

"Someone kill the DJ, Shoot the fucking DJ"

"Wanna be a Troublemaker, wanna be a Troublemaker"

???

I loved it! It reminds me of Nimrod too, and Tre wrote this one right?

You were faking a bubble??

Well it was quite convincing though :P

I really like Troublemaker. Not a stand out track, but certainly not a bad song I think. I love the catchiness drooling off of it :D

I think, I heard someone say that before. Sounds that way. Any proof?

I seriously love mike's backing vocals on almost all the songs. I'm glad we can actually hear him. His vocals AND his bass!

You forgot:

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

Let yourself go

That's actually the number of times he says it in the chorus.

And Stay The night sort of repeats the song's title.

So basically, if Rusty James is in fact Last Gang in Town, then the only two songs off of !UNO! that you can't find anywhere are Loss Of Control and Angel Blue.

"I want to get inside of you" :creep:

I personally prefer my anus intact, but whatever floats your boat.

I'm here to make you happy!

Right, but that's not really a good way to grab the listener. It looks like Billie wrote these songs just to put out as fast as he could. Maybe I am wrong, but he is a great writer, and it's hard to see quite boring and repetitive lyrics from him.

I don't know if it was really him, but I remember someone said there was a song written by him and it was probably Troublemaker when we first got the setlist of red7.

I agree that in almost every song we've heard the choruses are abysmal compared to the rest of the song. This one is the same. The songs are soooo fucking good, it's like they all would have been perfect if he could have come up with a chorus that doesn't repeat one line. I've actually felt that way about Stay the Night's chorus too.

Anyway I love the way all the verses are sung and the way the different lines feed into each other.

It's more like he wrote parts of the song, named it, then used the name as the song's chorus.

He used to excell at choruses, but his songwriting just seems so lazy now.

Not exactly instilling confidence in me about this trilogy.

Who wants to bet that the chorus to Loss of Control will be something like:

"Loss of control (x10,000)"

I agree with everyone's comments about repetitiveness, after hearing a couple of songs I thought "well, there's got to be others that are better", but every clip or song I've heard from Uno so far is repetitive, and frankly, a bit boring

Um.. Amazing! :yay: I love that song after I first heard it (when I first heard Kill The DJ I didn't actually really like it, but now I think that this is most awesome of all new Green Day singles)! Well.. Awesome!

These choruses are lazy as hell, what is going on with BJA.

That's why he wrote these songs really fast. The melodies are really good and catchy, but some parts of lyrics are not complete enough.
