Alan86 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 There's not really time for that i don't think so nope, presumably More of a chance of a ticket for the rest of us then
Joshh Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I'm going to see them on Sunday in Paris but i'm DEFINATELY going to this, regardless of the 250 mile drive. I can't miss this! Anyone wanting a lift from the Yorkshire area can hop in with me
solongfromthestars Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Fuck. How does the presale work by the way? If you buy the ticket they will send you a mail to pick up your ticket at the venue or what? I've been wondering this, does anybody know?
daria02 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Fuck. How does the presale work by the way? If you buy the ticket they will send you a mail to pick up your ticket at the venue or what? I can't tell you for sure, but it might be the case that they have your name and you have to provide ID at the door. Not quite sure though, because there's no time to post them out.
yourguitarbuddy Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Ok everyone i just have one very big request. Please people who will be at this show record it ! Little cameras or cameras in cell phone everything then i put it togrther and make a complete show !
WillForADay Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 £49.50!! Green Day are going to make a stupid amount of money here! Usually around £30 for a venue like shepards!
Holly Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I wish Stereoboard would stop shouting about it on twitter, I want as few people as possible to know
Tashidge Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Yeah £49.50 with booking fee. If it's seriously that expensive, there's no way that I can go to that. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Isabel Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Jade and I are going to try the unthinkable and go to Green Day and Less Than Jake....they're playing in the Barfly in Camden (15 min taxi ride away) so hopefully we can see both! EDIT: £49.50?? Are they fucking mental??
Hermione Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Please use the default size, colour and font when you post.
daria02 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 If it's seriously that expensive, there's no way that I can go to that. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. That's through the general sale link. I'm assuming they'll not vary in price if you buy through Idiot Club.
Martyn Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 £49.50!! Green Day are going to make a stupid amount of money here! Usually around £30 for a venue like shepards! They might have to pay extra cos there's no o2 priority benefits + do have a lot of gear/etc. Could easily have done a bigger venue like brixton but it'd be less special. Expensive but i'm so down for this regardless, been too long!
green day drunkbunny Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Good for you living somewhere things happen rather than somewhere painfully close but just out of reach
gmcloughlin Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Booked a hotel 5 mins from Shepherd's Bush tube station. CAN'T WAIT
Hey Dave Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I'm going to see them on Sunday in Paris but i'm DEFINATELY going to this, regardless of the 250 mile drive. I can't miss this! Anyone wanting a lift from the Yorkshire area can hop in with me I don't suppose I could baggsy a lift if I manage to get a ticket ? Obviously I would pay petrol money haha.
solongfromthestars Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 The bus fares from Nottingham have almost doubled in price since yesterday! It'll so be worth it but fuck this is going to be expensive...
green day drunkbunny Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Just out of interest, how many of you going have seen them before?
Moriarty Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Well after not getting tickets in LA ill have a go at this. I landed back in the UK on Saturday. Perfect timing!
Martyn Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Good for you living somewhere things happen rather than somewhere painfully close but just out of reach "painfully close" like the west of ireland?!?
Isabel Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I wonder is there any way to find out how much tickets will be on the Idiot Club? Because I really don't think I can fork out £49.50 for this.
insomniax Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Staring at some pictures of the venue now and it's just perfect.. I can afford to go and I hate it so much cause there is no way in hell that I can go NOW. Being underage is stupid.
Tashidge Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Just out of interest, how many of you going have seen them before? I've seen them twice. Was at the Wembley Stadium show which was only £4 more than that this is apparently going to be.
green day drunkbunny Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 "painfully close" like the west of ireland?!? Hey if you have money to spare maybe it's not so bad, I can't travel particularly far to anywhere, I haven't even had a holiday for the past 5 years so I'm clearly not going to make London.
Hermione Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Good for you living somewhere things happen rather than somewhere painfully close but just out of reach It's not up to us where they play, and we know we're lucky to live not too far away. Green Day pretty much always play in Manchester when they do a proper tour, as well as Scotland and sometimes other cities such as Sheffield. Maybe you'll be able to see them when they tour the UK next year?
