I'm going to see them on Sunday in Paris but i'm DEFINATELY going to this, regardless of the 250 mile drive. I can't miss this!

Anyone wanting a lift from the Yorkshire area can hop in with me ;)

Fuck. How does the presale work by the way? If you buy the ticket they will send you a mail to pick up your ticket at the venue or what?

I've been wondering this, does anybody know?

I can't tell you for sure, but it might be the case that they have your name and you have to provide ID at the door. Not quite sure though, because there's no time to post them out.

£49.50!! Green Day are going to make a stupid amount of money here! Usually around £30 for a venue like shepards!

I wish Stereoboard would stop shouting about it on twitter, I want as few people as possible to know

Yeah £49.50 with booking fee.

If it's seriously that expensive, there's no way that I can go to that.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

Jade and I are going to try the unthinkable and go to Green Day and Less Than Jake....they're playing in the Barfly in Camden (15 min taxi ride away) so hopefully we can see both!

EDIT: £49.50?? Are they fucking mental?? :o

Please use the default size, colour and font when you post.

That's through the general sale link. I'm assuming they'll not vary in price if you buy through Idiot Club.

They might have to pay extra cos there's no o2 priority benefits + do have a lot of gear/etc. Could easily have done a bigger venue like brixton but it'd be less special.

Expensive but i'm so down for this regardless, been too long! :)

Good for you living somewhere things happen rather than somewhere painfully close but just out of reach

I don't suppose I could baggsy a lift if I manage to get a ticket :P ? Obviously I would pay petrol money haha.

The bus fares from Nottingham have almost doubled in price since yesterday! :( It'll so be worth it but fuck this is going to be expensive...

Posted

Just out of interest, how many of you going have seen them before?

Posted

Well after not getting tickets in LA ill have a go at this. I landed back in the UK on Saturday. Perfect timing!

"painfully close" like the west of ireland?!? ;):P

Posted

I wonder is there any way to find out how much tickets will be on the Idiot Club? Because I really don't think I can fork out £49.50 for this.

Staring at some pictures of the venue now and it's just perfect..

I can afford to go and I hate it so much cause there is no way in hell that I can go NOW.

Being underage is stupid.

I've seen them twice. Was at the Wembley Stadium show which was only £4 more than that this is apparently going to be.

Hey if you have money to spare maybe it's not so bad, I can't travel particularly far to anywhere, I haven't even had a holiday for the past 5 years so I'm clearly not going to make London.

It's not up to us where they play, and we know we're lucky to live not too far away. Green Day pretty much always play in Manchester when they do a proper tour, as well as Scotland and sometimes other cities such as Sheffield. Maybe you'll be able to see them when they tour the UK next year?
