Ok so limit is 2 per person - for a show like this i think even if ppl only need one - EVERY1 shud buy 2 and help out with fellow GDC fans if they dont secure any !!!

It's less risky to buy one ticket. But, yeah, that's a good idea.

It's a great idea to buy 2 tickets so we can help each other out, but would it be better to leave them so they don't sell out so quick? I dunno.

Still so nervous

I can't get any sleep. Might as well just sit here and watch you guys get mad over the tickets.

You have my moral support! (does 'moral support' make any sense in English?)

Thank you and yes it does make sense :)

I'm off to work now. Hopefully when I'm back in this thread I'll see everyone saying they got tickets :D

I'm pumped for this. Same feeling i get before a decently prepared final exam, or a hypothetic fistfight!

If I get a ticket it's on to book flighttickets and plan the trip, and then leave tomorrow. If not, well, then i continue doing absolutely nothing for the next few days.

That was always my intention, till I found out they're £50 each

That was the worst nights sleep I've had in a while. When I just woke up and put on the radio it immediately said, 'and here's Green Day with Kill the DJ' I felt like a magician, I reckon it's a sign.

Sure we can't tempt you to reconsider coming? ;)

You know what? I think I'll just let fate decide this one...if luck is on my side and I manage to get tickets then grand, I'm destined to go...if not, then I'm not destined to go

Where is everybody? Shouldn't this place be loaded by now, and empty in about 50 minutes?

Fuck, flight tickets price almost doubled since yesterday. Not that I have a chance to get a ticket :( anyway good luck everyone!

Does anyone know what the 'enter offer code' on SeeTickets means? They don't have it on gigs other than this one. Is that something we've already answered and I missed it?

Trying to remain calm but right now I look a little like this :runaround:

If the standing tickets sell out in the presale I don't know if I should play it safe and just go for seated or risk it and wait till 12 and try and get one then. If I pass up a seated ticket in the presale and miss out completely at 12 I'll never forgive myself.

Maybe the IC pre-sale is just a code giveaway for use on seetickets?

This is what I was thinking, seen as it's not the direct link it might not crash quite so easily. Theres no mention of a code yet though is there?

Does anyone know if you need an account on gigsandtours.com? I tried buying a random ticket just to see and it didn't look like it. I remember someone saying for the LA show they had tickets in their basket but by the time they had registered they had timed out.

Exactly this, I don't want to be greedy going for standing and then miss out completely and be kicking myself that if I'd gone for seating from the start I might've got a ticket. BUT I REALLY WANNA BE STANDING.

Ah fuck. I didn't think there was an account system, I saw where it said sign up so I did that, but it was just for a newsletter. Can't seem to find anywhere that would suggest they use accounts, and I'm pretty sure I've used them in the past without one.

Nah, you don't need an account. Seetickets is good that way, they hold the tickets for you for a good 5-7 mins (well, that's usually) when you're entering your details

You guys have probably checked already but the IC page now has a link which takes you direct to the presale on gigsandtours.com

Do you have the financial means to buy 2? What if you bought a seated in the presale as a safe guard, and then attempted to get a standing at 12. If you get both, then you could sell the seated :)

Thanks, it should be ok, I got all the way up to the card details and the 'buy tickets' button, I think I'm just getting paranoid.

Why does IdiotClub have to be such a fool and sign you out ALL the time. Stressin' me out.

"Ticket collection and valid show entry wristbanding opens at the venue box office from 2pm on showday. All ticket holders need ID or purchasing Credit or Debit card and both people attending need to be given wristband. To gain entry to the show you must have ticket and wristband, No wristband = no entry on the door. Arrive early to avoid queues."

I'm planning on getting the train up to London after work and won't get to the venue until around 8.20, will I still be ok to get a wristband and be able to get in?? Also, Green Day won't be on before then right?

That is a good idea. Technically I could but I don't want to worry about selling a seated ticket so close to the show, even though I'd probably be able to. Also I'm not 100% on how it'd work with the whole ID/wristband thing so I don't think I will. But then if standing does sell out I might end up getting one out of sheer panic haha

My big sister just came in to check I was awake and brought me a cup of tea before she went to work, bless her.

What an awful nights sleep which was made worse when I discovered a mouse has taken up residence under my bed...

I'm so nervous, I've never tried to to get tickets for anything this small before.
