lizziebix Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I'm with you on that. It's probably why I don't post more often- I feel way too old and out of place with this community. Since you've been on GDC since 2006, you must know that I'm definitely one of the older members on here. And guess what? I'm the only one that ever mentions my age! No one has ever made me feel old for being here or being a Green Day fan. Come on in and join the party. It's quite fun around here. There are no age limits!
Annie, get your gun Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 That photo Billie Joe posted...

There are no age limits! Well I don't post much, so truthfully I don't know how old anyone is unless it says so under their post count! It's funny- I LOVED J'net's editorial on giving thanks to both the band and the community. But on the other hand, I couldn't really relate to it. I haven't made any friendships through GDC but for one person (anyone remember Jax?) and I haven't seen her around recently. It IS fun around here. And there are certainly a few people around here who have years on me. I think I'll stop here before anyone starts to think this is a boo-hoo post.

I've made a lot of friends here myself but most of these friendships are actually kept alive via Facebook. I do owe GDC a lot though for all the people it introduced to me. One of them being Jax (who has a one-year-old at home so that probably keeps her very busy right now).
