Josh100_3 Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 My band for the Australian leg of the tour! How the fuck do I do that? hahaha
newsflash777 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Omfg I fuckin' loooooove Best Coast I feel like it fits with their more I guess... expression of the California in them? eh
deathtofalsesushi Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 The Hives Classics of Love Frank Turner Best Coast is not a bad choice though
dallasthemenace Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 the hives would be great. arctic monkeys could work too. as well as vampire weekend. kepi ghoulie would be fun for a smaller venue tour. or import some random, catchy punk band from the uk that may not be very well known in the states...
casey1251 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Queens Of The Stone Age, The Strokes, Lana Del Ray, or Weezer! Also, I would kill for a massive one shot Foo Fighters/Green Day gig!!!
Sleeper Agent. Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 One Direction, Skrillex or Justin Beiber would be my top 3 guess of bands I forgot Blood On The Dancefloor. A bad Nirvana cover band Miley Cyrus, Hansen, Analcunt (A grindcore band) and Double Take http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__HeE6NWmDE
scottpilgrim10 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Pop Disaster Part 2 would be AWESOME! Besides Blink-182 other bands that would be cool to support or co-headline Green Day are: *Muse *Avenged Sevenfold *The Offspring Many More....
karma1215 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I love the Wavves. The Joy Formidable...they blow me away every time I see them play ( The opened for the Foo Fighters) And a underground punk band called City Mouse.
Rumpelstiltskin Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 When I saw Bullet For My Valentine, this band called Drive A opened for them. They reminded me (and everybody else) of Green Day. So that might be kinda cool to see.
inthehallwaynow Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Jello Biafra and the melvins or just jello doing a motivational speech YES
karma1215 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Dead Sara because Emily Armstrong is a frigging beast man and she does a mean cover of Killing in the Name of ( RATM) cover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgrV0AuoGB0
mbk Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 or just jello doing a motivational speech YES That would be very cool. I would like to see Rancid as an opening band, but I know that's not likely to happen.
inthehallwaynow Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 That would be very cool. I would like to see Rancid as an opening band, but I know that's not likely to happen. oh shit that would be awesome!! i wish haha
Mar Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 The Joy Formidable...they blow me away every time I see them play ( The opened for the Foo Fighters) Ooh, that would be a good pick. I'd still just kill myself if Gaslight Anthem ever opened for them.
Slave To The Network Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 It would be awesome to have Silversun Pickups open for Green Day! They're so phenomenally different that it would make for an extremely interesting concert. It would also be cool for Green Day to open for themselves as the Foxboro Hot Tubs.
tvrman Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I hate opening acts, I have come to see Green Day, I am impatient - get them on... Green Day don't need an opening act, just get the venue to play some decent music over the PA system beforehand.
Heisenberg Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I can't believe they haven't toured with Alkaline Trio yet. Did they ever way back in the day? That show would be greatest thing ever for me.
Guest Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 At this point in time it could be a juggling act and I'd be happy. I'd sit through anything just to see the boys do what they do best again.
gangbango Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I'd love to see Usher & Rihanna thou ... But just give them one fuckin' minute of fame. *insert sarcasm face here*
porksoda Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I can't believe they haven't toured with Alkaline Trio yet. Did they ever way back in the day? That show would be greatest thing ever for me. No, I don't think that's ever happened. I know Matt Skiba is a huge Green Day fan so that would probably be a dream come true for him. And me (my two favorite bands).
karma1215 Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 I can't stop listening to Girl in A Coma...also The Kills...awesome awesome bands...saw them both live before and they kick so much ass.
Gregorovich Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 I too feel a Foo Fighters - Green Day double act would kick ass.
TheGrouch33 Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Dirty tactics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJAglgVnk4M oooooor The Lawrence Arms
