Me. I'll put together a supergroup of GDC members and we'll be unstoppable.

And for the German shows I'd like the Donots again, they were freakin' awesome. Their show was so great, I was already almost dead by the time Green Day started to play.

I second that! Donots were great – the perfect support band in Germany.

I'd like to see Donots plus one main stream artist as support acts. Ed Sheeran or so.

I said this early on in the thread and no one replied...but I need an opinion...I WILL LAY DOWN 100 BUCKS THE KILLERS OPEN.

Both bands are alternative rock, The Killers are similar to Franz Ferdinand, and The Killers release their new album September 18th while Green Day releases Uno the 25th (ONLY A WEEK LATER).

Please tell me this isn't the best guess in the world.

THE GASLIGHT

MOTHERFUCKING

ANTHEM.

I think they would be fucking AMAZING. A bill like that would be perfect IMO. Their sound isn't a carbon copy of Green Day's, but I think it's closer to it than Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs who did open for the band (even though I love them both). It would be a good balance, IMO. And I would just die of joy.

As much as I'd love that bill, and as much as I think B.Flo has calmed his diva-ness, the shit he said about GD would still hang in the air, and The Killers and Green Day are now too big to co-headline or open for one another. Plus, I feel like there's some fandom animosity, still. =/

I agree and disagree. I do think what B. Flowers said might be between them a bit, but its been 6 years. I think the two bands could get over it by now. As for them being too big, I don't think The Killers are that much bigger than Green Day was when they were opening for Blink 182 back in early 2000. But who knows.

Yeah but Blink were huge then...

You'd think that, but it's hard to say....Billie has been known to hold onto certain grudges for awhile....I do know that Brandon supposedly apologized to them, but I don't know how it was received or if any of it was genuine or just for publicity to calm the backlash.

Prima Donna! And with Kevin available, a Foxies show afterwards :D

Yes! With Kevin in the vicinity, anything is possible. :eyebrows:

But besides that, it's Bobby Joe Ebola and the Children Macnuggits or bust.

If Foxy Shazam and Green Day toured together, my life would be made.

To be honest I just really hope it's not Emily's army o-o

Thank god there is a sane person in the room! Nothing against the fans, I just think it would be a bad move.

the guy from The Killers still hates Green Day.. he tweeted some shit just some year ago, dont know if the tweet is still there but he did. and, even though Green Day is a way bigger band than The Killers, they're still too big to open..

Actually, The Black Keys.

You have no idea how much i would love this. My two favorite bands ever. However, the Black Keys are just as big or even bigger than Green Day right now and they are a totally different type of music. Id never see that happening.

Blink-182, JET, Emily's Army!
