Disapperingirl Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I can't listen to it? Did you try the Youtube video, downloading, everything??
Guest emmylove Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 My neighbour is blasting R&B in response to LYG and it's drowning it out :angry There's absolutely nothing wrong with R&B Or one of you just get headphones
iRun Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 You're the very thing I________ I think he says "Everything you say I already know". That's what I hear.
solongfromthestars Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 There's absolutely nothing wrong with R&B Or one of you just get headphones There is when it's so loud it drowns my music out whether I use headphones or not.
WhatserKinx Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Did you try the Youtube video, downloading, everything?? I never thought about checking Youtube... Listened to it now and I LOVE it! I think this was the kind of song people were looking for as a first single.
WalkingContradictionPL Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 My neighbour is blasting R&B in response to LYG and it's drowning it out :angry Call St Billie who will said 'Gotta let me go' and after shooting your neighbour 'And I don't give a fuck anyway' I must back to writing scripts for some plays with my friends
Heather! Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 THIS IS SO GOOD AAAAHHHH I like it a lot better than Oh Love. I absolutely cannot wait for more songs in the same vein as this one.
TaylorKlinke Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Not going to lie, I am crying happy tears right now haha I love it so much! These albums are going to be huge!
StarKiller Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 This is song may very well be my favourite Green Day song already. It's amazing. Pure Green Day.
Malleus Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Really great! It's interesting to think about this in contrast to Oh Love. There really is gonna be something for everybody on these upcoming albums. Sweet fucking song though. So excited.
amy_runs Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 The chorus reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally reminds me of the chorus to Holiday Road.
heart on a noose Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who loves more Oh Love then Let Yourself Go.. Actually, I can't really say that I love it more, the thing I wanna say is that I have stronger feelings for Oh Love, then for Let Yourself Go at the moment. I was pretty sad reading posts about how Oh Love wasn't good material for the first single. I like Let Yourself Go, obviously and it's totally energetic and catchy, but Oh Love has really got me. Actually I think that those two shouldn't even be compared, at all. I like to hear the different sound on both songs which gives me a feeling that Uno will really be an awesome album!
Soo Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Been at work all day, looking forward to hearing this song and the wait was worth it! It is awesome and I love it already! It sounds exactly how I wanted it to sound! Now I really can't wait for the new album(s) to come out!!
Guest Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Chills, the entire time. Whenever anyone questions my undying love for this band, I'll show them this video.
live freaky die freaky Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 we are going to listen 37 new songs in a few months the three albums will contain different style...we'll have some good riddance (amy, drama queen), some 21 guns (oh love, or similar) and some burn out (LYG): any kind of green day songs, but with a new fucking great sound sorry for my english
No Rhyme Or Reason Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 So much undeserved hate for Oh Love here Not necessary. It's great that you all love Let Yourself Go so much, but the uncalled for, mean comments to Oh Love hurt its feelings. I love both songs, but Oh Love is more ambitious and unique, and definitely more radio friendly (especially considering the swearing in LYG). Let Yourself Go just seems too safe and predictable to really get me. But it's a sure way to make 99% of the Green Day fans happy, since that's apparently what everyone wants - the classic Kerplunk/Dookie/Nimrod sound.

DeAmbassador Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Now this is what I'm talkin' about! Way better than Oh Love, this is a mixture of Kerplunk!/Dookie/Nimrod/Warning/ with a pinch of American Idiot (song) on the bridge. Perfect.
Malleus Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 My one complaint is that there are not enough sweet, straight outta Dookie drum fills. The one at the end is such a tease!

I don't dislike Oh Love, I really like it (well it is a Green Day song so I'd probably love it if was 5 minutes of Billie Joe making farting noises ). Sorry for hurting your feelings Oh Love It's just that Oh love took a few listens for me to fall in love with it whereas LYG had me hooked from the first listen. In fact it's already become one of my listened to songs, it's the first song they've released in a long time that I'm able to play on repeat and not make myself sick of hearing it.
