Billie-Joe playing random bits of new songs on the radio is exciting, corporate deals to air clips of songs is not.

I think part of that can be blamed on advertising...they made it sound like it was just gonna be full narraration for 30 minutes. I mean, it narrarated, but it was choppy and very disappointing...

This, the way they promoted it it seemed like it was gonna be 30 minutes (obvz commercial breaks and shit) of straight new Green Day songs. While it was nice hearing the songs, it would've been nice to hear more of Nightlife, The Forgotten and SWTRLF (and whatever the mystery coffee shop song was!) Plus at times it was hard to hear them over the SFX. All well, maybe we just hyped ourselves up too much, but at least we got something.

Full songs would've fit ...assuming Nightlife or The Forgotten isn't like 6 mins. The problem was all the time that they weren't playing the songs. Or, like half the time.
