I would normaly go to bed at 1 AM but Now I have to stay awake until 2AM and a whole hour because of the show I´ll make it^^

I'm on a cheap metro phone that doesnt get YouTube, so i have no choice but to buy every single album even if i dont like more than half the songs to find out what it reallly sounds like. Actually, you most certainly do have a choice. We're living in 2012. Don't tell me that the only way to get the songs you like most is to download it from an IPod or your own computer. Besides, if you have no computer then I still don't see how you can even dare to be angry that a band releases tons of songs while you only like a few. The band provided you the music, now it's your job to get the ones you like. How you do it, that's your business and your problem.

So yeah, I think I'm well within my rights to question quality control. 37 average to above average songs, with a few really good ones spread out within it all isnt exactly something to for me to freak out or be extremelly grateful about since I don't have very much money. I'd much rather have one 15 dollar album filled with gems then 3 albums with a few gems dispersed throughout for a total of 45 dollars. Oh, but based off what you're saying quanity is better than quality! I'm 16 and I don't come from a "well off" family, so I'm not exactly rolling in dough here. Plus for the price of one brand new album i can get 2-3 older albums. Get the albums first week most places sell new release first week for 10 bucks yes and now I will post it the 5th and last time xD Do you have a link to the livestream lol

Uh, you have to download individual songs, and you can only do that from a computer or MP3 device, which I don't own. And yeah, it's my problem, and I'm saying my opinion, which came from a response that I commented on. I'm not the only one that's questioned the quality of this trilogy.

Everyone has different opinions, so an album I think is filled with gem after gem, you might think is the worst garbage they've ever put out. The difference of opinions extends to Green Day themselves. Their favorite songs from a record may be my least favorite, and vice versa. Us getting 37 songs rather than just 15 doesn't mean we're getting an extra 22 more "filler" songs than usual. As I've tried to explain to you before, the ratio of excellent/okay/meh songs will more than likely be about the same no matter the quantity. Getting an EP of 4 songs doesn't mean I'll love them all - they could all just be average or worse to me. On the contrary, getting 37 songs doesn't guarantee there will be lots of mediocre songs - I might think every single one is flawless. Just because you don't think a song is great doesn't mean it's not - a lot of people are likely to totally disagree. That't the thing about quality: We all have different opinions on each of the songs. Green Day seems pretty proud of their work, so they obviously think that they're providing quantity and quality. I happen to agree to agree with them so far. Now, about being poor: I'm sorry you can't afford a computer in order to download individual songs. I'm not exactly rich either. At all. But surely you have a friend who can let you download just the songs you deem worthy and of a high enough quality, and then burn those onto a CD. Right? I just don't see why you have to complain that we're getting more songs. More is good! More fantastic songs, and possibly more average songs too. But instead of focusing on the bad, you can try to be more optimistic and grateful that Green Day is being so generous. I don't understand complaining about it, even if you are poor. Well said. Let me add that there is no album by any band, not even Green Day, where I'd say without hesitation that every single song is a "gem". I can't give that honor to American Idiot (Extraordinary Girl and Whatsername never really did it for me), 21st Century Breakdown (Christian's Inferno, Restless Heart Syndrome, and Horseshoes & Handgrenades get my least-liked of the bunch), 39/Smooth or Kerplunk (with the exception of a few brilliantly-written ones like 2000LYA or WWHC; the recordings are just *too* raw for my own taste and Billie's vocals haven't matured yet; or even Dookie (Having a Blast never worked well for me). But -- and here's the important thing -- there is no Green Day album where the "well, it's OK but..."s outweigh the quality songs, and there is also no Green Day album -- including iUno! and what we've heard so far of iDos! and iTre! -- where at least some of those quality songs don't reach brilliance and make the entire album worth the price of admission.

And it's interesting how you mention the songs that never really did it for you: Extraordinary Girl, Having A Blast, Restless Heart Syndrome - those are among my very favorites from their respective albums! That just proves my point that everyone has different ideas of what an excellent song is. But my favorite part of what you just said is that no Green Day album has enough mediocre songs to outweigh the rest of the album's brilliance. Perfectly said, and so true!
